As a fitness enthusiast, in 2012, I decided to enroll in yoga teacher training to help with my fitness goals. Little did I know that it would be life changing! The awareness and healing that came out of the practice of yoga was very transformative. Being a multitasker myself, yoga gave me the much needed respite to take care of myself physically and emotionally.
Private yoga classes allow you to work on the poses and stretches that make sense for you on your schedule and at your own pace. I have been taking Yoga classes here from last 4 weeks and I absolutely love them. Uma is a good instructor. She is calm , composed and knowledgeable. Every week we try to focus on different muscle groups to strengthen them and make muscle memory. Also, our session includes breathing exercises to reduce daily stress. She tries to answer my questions or sometimes text me for more info. I would recommend this place....!

Umashree is an amazing instructor and is very thorough with all of the different aspects of yoga. She makes sure to keep pace with all of her students and gives everybody an equal amount of attention. I have found her classes to be very therapeutic and they have helped me attain lots of inner peace. Highly recommended!

This is small comfortable home studio that is well organized and clean. I enjoyed her weekend yoga classes. Her yoga classes are perfect for those who want to focus on pranayama, stretching asanas, core strenghtening asanas, and meditation into each session. Her classes are well organized and has a good flow of instructions. I felt relaxed and refreshed after her classes. Recently, I attended her meditation workshop. The workshop was very informative on the different types of meditation and offered ways in which you can accommodate it into your practice.

I had my first 2-hour session with Uma for guided meditation. She started off with giving us some background on how yoga & meditation helped her with acne and sleeping issues and so on. She became so passionate after seeing the results herself that she quit a high paying IT job to become a yoga instructor so people like us can benefit too. She made it so interesting by mixing meditation with some basic breathing techniques (pranayama) and yoga poses. Her voice was so soothing and relaxing that some of us fell fast asleep. The studio space is very clean and calming. Umashree is very patient, thorough and explains how to flow with each breath. I'm not new to yoga and took the beginner class. Felt so good with the much needed stretch after a long hike the prior day. Yoga is not just for beginners but for everyone in any fitness level.

I attended a wonderful session by Umashree, on restorative yoga last week. It was a truly restoring experience. We began with meditation and thereafter went through a series of gentle stretches and breathing exercise. This was my first experience of restorative yoga, and I loved it. It was refreshing, energizing and calming. I came in not knowing what to expect, and left feeling clear, calm and happy. I don't think I will miss another session of restorative yoga by Umashree!
