Do your research first make sure you do a walk thru and video. Also make sure you are viewing the actual apartment or unit you will be living in. DO NOT LET THEM SHOW YOU A MODEL UNIT. Do not let them Discriminate against you because your income,and most definitely not your Sec8. They get a incentive for renting to Sec8 and they get paid on time. Always make sure you pay your portion on time,don't count on them to give you the excuse their Renters Portal will update. Keep all pictures emails and documents.

Worst apartment complex ever. Terrible management. I do not recommend anyone looking for an apartment to even waste their time attempting check the place out. You WON’T get your deposit back and they will add miscellaneous fees when you move out. I regret moving here. So please, learn from my mistake and avoid this place!

I recently moved out of Ashford Park due to a family situation in Southern California. But, if I didn’t have to leave, I wouldn’t have. I lived in the complex for several years. It’s a beautiful place with lots of trees in a good area, reminds me of Tahoe or something in the mountains. It’s definitely older and could use some upgrades, but I think that’s in process.
There were many staff changes, but I think they finally Almost found a good team. Sam and Carly in the office were always friendly and professional to me every time I had to contact the office for something. The current manager

I was 12 days shy of hitting the 11 year mark for living in Ashford Park! I enjoyed my stay there. Anytime I needed something fixed/repaired they were right on it. I had no issues or complaints. I would still be living there if we hadn't purchased our own home. I was sad to leave but excited for my new adventures. I'll definitely miss the community! The office staff was very friendly. Thanks for making my stay there so pleasant. I'll definitely refer family/friends to rent from you.

The staff is terrible. We stopped by on a Saturday to see what was available. We waited outside as asked while another person was shown a unit. When it was our turn we were given a floor plan sheet and a price sheet and rushed out so she could help the people who came in after us. We decided to apply before seeing the unit because there was only one left of that model and we didn't want to loose out. We payed the high app fee of $49.12 per person. plus a holding deposit. We were denied 24 hours later and now we have to wait for our money to be returned until they process it. My options to

I have been apartment searching for the last few weeks. Coming from Texas where apartments were fighting to get you to rent, here it's a little different as we have been fighting to find a place. The experience for the most part has been challenging. People don't call you back or when they do its not really helpful.

It's livable, but very outdated. They advertise luxury, but luxury they are NOT! The carpet is OLD, possibly from early 2000s. Many times its been shampooed, which causes it to attract dirt even more!! After 1 week, the carpet looks gross, and I'm sure it's not going to be their fault. We lived here for only nine months and it was two adults and two children that were both under a year and a half. This is probably the most honest review you'll read about this place. Here is the thing about a lot of the apartment complex communities in Sacramento that you should know - many are ran by FPI Management Company. It took me half a year to write this review because 1: I didn't want to write a review while I was emotional and 2: I wanted to do some independent research on the place and the management company that oversee's the directors, managers and assistant managers. Amenities are garbage. The Gym and Pool are a joke.

Maintenance was never done on the unit despite being told everything would be fixed.

Tried charging me for these things they said they would fix when we moved out!

Pool closed again at 8:30 pm when it's not supposed to be closed up until 10 pm...I'm told that I pay this high of rent for the amenities...sure would like to be allowed to use them since I am paying for them!

Once again I have to give a big KUDOS, to Jamie Soltau Community Director of Ashford Park Apartments. First off friendly smile always and most of all extremely understanding and helpful. Always provides Superior Service I'm very good with helping people in the community. The staff here makes our Community a wonderful environment to live in thank you.

Me and my boyfriend search for hours the other day and when we found this place we knew we had to call it home. The staff is really nice and they were having a christmas party in the back for everyone to come and enjoy. We are hoping to hear back soon if we can move in. But I can say so far it has been an amazing experience!

Let's just say I was blown away. After spending a whole day apartment hunting and visiting various places, I stopped at this complex and got the most amazing service from the people in the office. Every single person made it a point to say hello to me and the leasing person was so friendly and really made what had been a stressful day easy and pressure free.

Once It gets a little closer to my move date, I'm definitely going to check back to make this my new home!
