The bar area is nice and the service was good. The restaurant is a bit on the cafeteria feel side but comfortable. I had the vegan beyond bowl. I'm giving 2 stars because they actually have a vegan entree unlike most restaurants in the area. However, I thought it was a joke. It was an unseasoned bowl of mostly sprouts with a cooked beyond meat patty. I kid you not when I say it was not seasoned... it was so sad. Not a bit of salt, not a drizzle of oil... just raw veggies, seeds and a patty I can make tastier at home. There are so many brilliant ways to cook a flavorful vegan dish. This is

This was my first time there and it won't be my last... Had a pear martini that was off the chain! We shared an appetizer of brussel sprouts that was delicious. I chose the it Frisco burger that was also delicious. The wait staff was polite prompt and got all our orders correct. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that's in the placerville area.

On a Sunday night coming down from Tahoe finding a restaurant open past 8 is tough! We were so happy to find Bricks open until 830 last night, we arrived at 805pm. We were greeted within 5 min and sat at a table. Our server, Tyler, was so welcoming. We ordered a French dip w/ grilled onions and Gouda cheese(those were add ons), cup of minestrone and a Frisco burger w/ fries with no changes. Both meals were great!! A lot of taste and the French dip was piled high with good quality meat...not full of stringy fat like some places. My husband loved his burger, said it was great and he is a burger guy

The food was just okay not great but okay. The vegetables on the plate was a overkill and would have been better to have a salad offered in place of a monopoly of half cooked bell pepper, carrots, green beans, onions. I had the meatloaf with mashed potato and gravy. My son had the New York steak and au gratin potatoes that were dried out and looked like a square of lasagna. We were not impressed with anything. The noise was annoying of the loud customers and the atmosphere was terrible without a music or sound system to help with making people feel calmer and more relaxed. I don't want to

Let's give credit where credit is due!. This place is great! Moved up here about a year ago and this is quickly became one of my favorite places. Really good service, really good people. The food is absolutely delicious every time. The burger is always delicious but let's talk about the filet mignon. They have cooked it perfect just about every time I've went in and it's always full of flavor. I tried the filet mignon down the street at the independent which is priced about 30% higher than Bricks, almost exact plate. Bricks steak is better, hands down! Keep doing exactly what

Spent the afternoon in Placerville enjoying the hustle and bustle of Christmas Shopping and decorations. Looked on Yelp
For a place to eat and decided on Brick.
We got their just in time, 600pm.
They were almost full so We were Seated right away. Shortly after we were seated a line started to form. Nice bar area, good selection of beer, wine and cocktails.
Isaiah was out server and he was on point.. He had a good number of tables but kept us

The owner is so cheap he hires young unqualified personal with no experience to run his restaurant (Management). If you try to address your concerns he is MIA! DOES NOT CARE!! No concept of customer service with the management!!!. I came there every day for years. The first time I complained about an injustice from the bartender forgetting to put my order in he made up something so offensive my lawyer said I could sue them for slander!!! When I complained to Management it was like talking to an uneducated 3rd grader!

Visited Brick's Monday, 8 November 2021, and it was another fantastic meal for the books! This place is so consistent. The food is great. Really good options for everyone. The drinks are tasty and not a waste of money (there is actually alcohol in them). The service is great. The host asked us if the booth would be a suitable size for our party before seating us and helped bus our table. The server checked on us frequently, and our orders were exactly the way we ordered them. It was all hands on deck the entire night! The manager/assistant manger (blonde woman, forgot to ask her name ) handled

And at 75% capacity we still had our appetizers in 10 minutes and our entrees about 15 mins later. signature cocktails were fabulous. wait staff friendly and attentive. this place blew me away.

Our server was five stars. She was very attentive, gave recommendations, and knew the menu well. Polite and friendly.
The Spinach Salad was delicious. We asked them to leave the Feta cheese on the side; however, it was in the salad. The big downer was the BEEF TENDERLOIN MEDALLIONS. The sauce was lumpy, and the taste was that of a packaged sauce. Even after scraping off the sauce, the beef was not eatable.
The server offered another dish; however, we chose to have them remove it from the bill. The manager also comp'd desserts for us.
Overall not the most fantastic experience. Probably

I have been coming here for a while now and I love it service has been good food has been really yummy. They offer a variety of food some trays are little pricey, but that's expected. The few times I've gone in they have been able to seat us not to busy or if you are on the way you can call and get in the waitlist. If anyone is in the area should check the place out.

Came here yesterday on our way to Lake Tahoe and while the food was pretty decent the service was at the best 2-3 stars. From the minute we walked in till we left the wait staff didn't make us felt like they appreciated our business. For the food it was very middle of the road...I specifically asked the waitress if they cooked the burger spot on and she told me they are perfect every time. I ordered a medium to medium rare brunch burger and it was done done well past being dead. The Buffalo chicken dip had pretty good flavors but as you can tell it looked like they just threw some chips on

When Gayle and I drive between Genoa (NV) and the Bay Area via US 50, we usually power straight through, with maybe a comfort stop at Fresh Pond. This time around, Jim and Marti were with us as part of our trip to see the Van Gogh Immersive in San Francisco. Since they enjoy a bit more a leisurely pace, we decided to stop for Lunch in Placerville.
Brick's is easily accessed from the Highway and there's a municipal parking lot across the street. Outdoor dining is available, but as we're feeling a little safer being all vaccinated, we decided on a nice socially distanced table

Portions are large and a good value.
I had the Malibu Chicken sandwich. Excellent. Wife had the Poke lettuce wraps. Excellent. Brother had Pastrami Reuben. It looked really good and had cool multi-colored bread.
Just went for lunch with my son. Excellent. I had the BLTA and subbed the tomatoes for Fried Green Tomatoes. Fantastic.
My son gets the fried green tomatoe Grilled Cheese every time. He says it's soo good!
Portions are large and a good value.

A sweet downtown spot that's best fit for drinks with friends. This place packs up and reasonably so as the beer selection is impressive and the cocktail menu is intriguing. The food is very hit-or-miss with some food items being obviously "pre-packaged" or recipes with odd ingredients (that would be better off omitted. In short, I have happily patronized this place for almost ten years and my go-tos are plentiful at the bar and maybe some trusty French fries....

My siblings and I came here for lunch. They offer outdoor and indoor seating. It is a popular spot on the weekends. My sister ordered the Strawberry Fields and it was strong and delicious. I ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad and it was well dressed and the perfect amount of croutons and chicken. My siblings ordered the Darcy Burger and the Bo Peep Burger with fries. They both thought their burgers were good and the fries were so amazing! Marin was our server and she was super sweet and attentive. Great spot for eats and drinks.
