Most classes held simultaneously online AND in-studio! Our prerecorded sessions are still available. Stay safe and healthy. Yoga helps manage your response to stress while enhancing your physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. In addition to increasing flexibility, strength, and balance, concentration and focus improve as you gain the ability to quiet and calm the mind.
Services
Whether or not you are fully vaccinated, we HIGHLY recommend wearing a mask in the studio. Yoga for Cancer Care (YFCC) is comprised of a group of dedicated yoga teachers who offer classes to cancer survivors, those currently battling cancer, and caregivers. The aim is to come together as a community for support and encouragement. Sessions are designed to nourish the minds, bodies, and spirits of people whose lives have been affected by cancer, empowering them to be active participants in their own well-being.
In this 28-minute video Donna Pollin offers simple yoga stretches and meditation to open the body and relax. During savasana meet the challenge of relaxing as Merlin barks away! Join Donna McMullin for this 27-minute practice when you need to unwind but don't have the time - or energy - for a full practice.
In order to start, and sustain, a consistent yoga practice, it is important to "grow into yoga" and to take classes that are a good fit for where you currently are in your yoga journey. An experienced yogi can appreciate and enjoy the benefits of a gentle or even a beginner class but the inexperienced yoga student might have a less than favorable yoga experience if they start in a class not appropriate for them.

I've been going to yoga central as a young teenager and im in my late 20s now. They have plenty and lovely selections of classes and different levels to take, not just yoga. Their instructors are all wonderful people, Becky Moats is my favorite instructor, everyone should take a class of hers, you will receive knowledge, comfort, encouragement, lots of love and patience, you will definitely laugh during a class of her's too. Yoga has helped me tremendously with my addiction and mental health issues, I've learned things in class I've been able to use in my daily life to help me cope. I encourage

Took my first yoga class in many, many years -- gentle/beginner class with Becky. She was a terrific instructor. The venue is small and cozy with a very nice atmosphere.

I can't believe no one has reviewed this place yet...
Lots of classes to choose from - you are sure to find one that fits your schedule. I haven't taken them all so I can't speak on all of the instructors but I do love the Tuesday 7:30 class with Becky. She's an incredibly fun and helpful instructor. I look forward to her class every week. Any class she teaches is sure to be great.
They have everything you need here - mats, blocks, blankets, bolsters, etc. So just come and try them out, you won't be disappointed! Namaste!
