Services
Studios started as a small family run lesson studio and has now blossomed into a community based private individual and group lesson studio as well as a performing arts institute offering full dance, acting, yoga and fitness classes! Ashley B. Mondragon, the founder and vocal coach, has always felt that the arts stem from imagination, creativity, fun and freedom.
Ashley, founder of and vocal coach/instructor at Rockstar! Studios, has been playing and performing music for over 30 years. She earned her BA in Music from the Conservatory of Music from Kean University focusing on classical voice. Her primary instrument, in the beginning of her career, was saxophone, specializing in Jazz Improvisation.

Visit our rates and policies page for more information. We recommend a 30 minute trial lesson for $30 to any student interested in private lessons befor enrolling.
These rates are per lesson for private music student. Lessons are charged monthly and are not a flat rate, but for the amount of lessons a student takes each month which is customizable. Please contact us or set up a visit and consultation for rates and to find out what classes would be best for you!
Audition with ONE of the following monologues, memorized or at least familiarize yourself enough to perform it: (the longest one is 18 lines). You must provide sheet music for an accompanist or your own karaoke track in the appropriate key. This is a wonderful music studio for budding musicians, actors, and singers. I hear so many talented young boys and girls singing and playing piano, drums, and guitar while I wait during my child’s lesson. The staff and instructors are so patient and enthusiastic with the kids. It really makes me so proud and happy to see my son excited about learning music and believing in his ability to play. His teacher is David, and he really explains things well. My son actually comes home and wants to practice a little more after his lesson because he feels encouraged. I highly recommend this place.

My son started learning piano with David in 2017 and as of 2019 he is still a student. He has made great progress in learning how to read music and understand how to count beats etc. However, the following moment always stands out to me about how unique this school is and that it was the perfect choice for our son to learn music. On the 1st day of piano lessons, David asked my son "What type of piano do you want to play? Do you want to just play piano or play piano and sing?" My then 8 year old answered "play and sing?" then David said "OK, then I know exactly how to teach you to get you there
