Our Kids Karate Program caters to children ages 5 - 13 and is designed to help your child unlock their full potential. Our youth karate classes for kids specifically works on gross, fine and complex motor skills that compliment this stage of development through drills, exercises and games. It is our belief that this age group needs physical activity to build strength, coordination, and to lay the groundwork for a healthy lifestyle down the road.

Our Tiny Tigers Karate Program caters to children ages 3-5 and is the perfect martial arts program for preschoolers!

Highly recommend Edge Martial Arts! My daughter started at Edge as a white belt and is now a green belt working toward purple. My other two daughters drop-in for the camps. Sensei Eric, Sensei Ben and Sensei Caroleann and everyone at the dojo are all fantastic. Not only do they have the martial arts expertise, but, equally as important, they are all extremely patient teachers. Very responsive to messages and excellent COVID protocols and flexibility during these uncertain times. Our sons have been going to Edge for the last 4 years and needless to say that we are big fans. I have been so impressed by the owner, Eric Radoman, who is not only organized, dedicated and a great communicator, he is also an incredible teacher. He and his staff are gentle, patient and calm and have a natural teaching style with kids of all ages. As someone who doesn't have experience with karate, I am continually impressed by how they teach physical skills while also focusing on life skills such as listening, discipline and self-control. I am an adult student and my son is also learning karate at this dojo. I can't say enough good things about Sensei Eric, Sensei Ben and the entire team at Edge. They instill great values and life lessons in the kids (focus, dedication, hard work, patience, teamwork, love of exercise, etc.). My son loves the classes and recently joined the Competition Team. Personally, I love the weekly Adult Class, its my favorite work-out. They also are able to effectively train me during regular (i.e. non-adult) classes (and it is fun to participate in classes with my son)! Finally, during these Covid times,

I was looking for a safe and nuturing environment for my son to learn karate. When my son tried it out here, he had a fantastic time. Kids know. He got good workouts, terrific instruction and tools to improve his style. Sensei Eric of Edge Martial Arts has an understanding of special needs and he strives to keep this an inclusive place.

My son started online with Edge during Covid and then started in person lessons twice a week. I can’t recommend these guys enough! They are not only super professional but also always friendly and flexible and try to accommodate any which way they can. A great place for your kids to learn martial arts!

My son has been training with Eric since he was 6 years old. My younger one has now begun classes at Edge Martial Arts and they both love it! They are constantly practicing the moves they learned, discussing tips their senseis have taught them, etc. Their first choice for camp is always Edge Martial Arts. Eric and his staff are friendly, understanding and easy to reach for us parents. It’s really a great place to send your kid for karate :)

Both of our sons are enrolled at Edge Martial Arts. We’ve been fans for the past 4 years and counting! Our sons -- ages six and eight -- have had the most wonderful experience at Edge Karate. The Dojo is beautiful, the classes are well run and highly structured, and Sensai Eric and his staff are tremendously gifted at working with children in a way that promotes both self-discipline and a sense of community responsibility. They are always accessible, flexible (especially during these COVID-characterized times!), and run a very professional shop with kindness, humor, and a clear passion for what they do. Could not recommend this program more highly!
