While baking has always been my passion, I was a high school science teacher for 10 years before taking the leap to own my own shop! With the support and love from my family and friends, and the discovery of a beautiful location in our home neighborhood, I am now able bring my treats to a larger audience than what could be met by me alone in my kitchen.
I am so happy to have a place that I can love and share love through. Proud to be a place in Manayunk where families can come and there's something for everyone. At Terrace Street Bakery & Cafe, we are welcoming to all kinds, because it takes all kinds to create this beautiful community we call home.

Terrace St has great food but is constantly sold out, many items are not available despite what their website says. We ordered directly from their website and 45 minutes later when we arrived, we were told that the items we had already paid for were no longer available. Very frustrating and any type of notification would have been helpful, our phone number and email are provided for a reason. Staff was friendly but not particularly helpful.

There's breakfast, then there's a Terrace Street Bakery breakfast. Our only regret is that we didn't try them sooner. Breakfast sandwiches with a biscuit so soft you feel the love that went into making them. The folks that work there are nothing but delightful and we will continue supporting them for a very very long time.

We went by on a Saturday late morning. Got an assortment of things to try: bacon, egg, and cheese croissant, toasted bagel, chocolate chip muffin, pumpkin scone, chocolate chip cookies, chocolate chip biscotti, and coffee. We had planned to try a bagel sandwich and chocolate croissant but they were out of those and some other things, and that’s to be expected for a local bakery - order/arrive early for the best selection. The things we did try were all excellent! For example, the croissant was melt-in-your-mouth with a generous filling, the toasted bagel was perfectly soft and chewy, and the

Really quality cappuccino and friendly staff. Cute place. First day we visited right at opening and the tables obviously had not been cleaned. Second day we went at opening and it was very clean. Cappuccino was consistently good. All baked goods are made in house. Just had the jelly thumb print cookie and was buttery and crumbly good. The breakfast sandwiches looked really good and large.

Love them! I order from here frequently, always delicious and such prompt service.Their new pumpkin cream cold foam is THE BEST! One of the best tasting pumpkin flavored coffees i've had. I can't wait for Pie season, I ordered for Thanksgiving last year and it was amazing! Always great to support a small business - you get amazing quality & service!

Cannot say enough good things about this neighborhood spot. They have done such a great job keeping up incredible service and quality throughout the pandemic. The biscuit breakfast sandwiches are so good, it’s hard not to stop in every day! The baked goods never disappoint, and the staff is always kind and friendly with my kiddo. Love living so close to this place.
