Robert and Vera Heidelberg had modest goals when they opened Heidelberg Dermatology in northwest Detroit in 1971. Dr. Heidelberg wanted always to exercise compassion and professionalism each time he diagnosed and treated his patients' skin problems. Vera, who assumed the job as the business manager, shared with her husband the plan to provide high quality, professional services to the community.

Dr. Heidelberg was absolutely fantastic. Her office was very neat and clean and her staff was courteous, prompt, and extremely efficient - they were able to get me in the same day I called. Upon meeting the Dr. she had an extremely polite and attentive demeanor where she greeted me, listened to my concerns, and then deployed care to drain and incise a cyst I had. Overall amazing experience and i definitely would recommend booking with her immediately if you are in need of dermatology services.

Dr. Heidelberg is 👌🏽 AWESOME🌟. It's the front receptionist that I can't deal with. The young light skin receptionist always and I mean ALWAYS have the nastiest attitude. When you have questions 🤔 regarding your bill its a wrap. Her favorite line is "you have to wait on Tracey" to explain your bill. Here's the problem she clears out the whole waiting area while you're just standing there for her to say here you go. She then hands you a print out that she could have given you from the first question and Tracey never acknowledges you🤦🏽‍♀️....

This was my second appointment where I waited more than an hour to see the doctor. After more than an hour of waiting the medical assistant (very kindly) apologized and let me know that I had 3 or 4 patients in front of me STILL. I packed up and left after wasting a total of 2.5 hours of my day (including drive time) They don’t respect their patients’ time at all. I won’t be back!

I had received a biopsy.
I am afraid of needles.
However, the medical assistant who injected the shot for numbing my hand area was very compassionate. The procedure was virtually painless. She also provided suggestions about how to cope with the procedure
Dr. Hiedleberg took the biopsy sample. She made everything efficient and painless. Her conversation skills allowed me to relax in what could in many cases be excruciatingly painful.
The office was efficient and Dr. Heidelberg was very organized and courteous of my time and experience, during the procedure.

Best dermatologist in Mi. I suffer from psoriasis and I love my doctor (Dr. Sharon) she got my skin looking beautiful. I’m not sham to say that at one point my skin was so bad I use to wish I was a snake. Because like a snake I would shed the old skin and get a nice new set of skin. This issue can effect you self esteem, but great doctors like mine (Dr. Sharon) will encourage you to hang in there that their is light at the end of this long tunnel. The staff is 💯 professional they really do set the tone for the clinic and it’s always a great experience. The service is always professional

This was my first visit to the office and I am very pleased. There is a professional atmosphere from the front desk to the treatment room. Everyone was courteous and respectful. Dr. Heidelberg was personable and made me feel comfortable as a new patient. Dr. Heidelberg, her intern, and other assistant (not sure of her title) were patient and explained things thiroughly.
I called for an appointment earlier this year and when I was told there was nothing available until October, I was a little disappointed. However, I must say it was worth the wait.
