We lived here for 2 years and the maintenance people and *most* of the residents were the absolute best. That's where the niceties stop. Every bad thing you read from these reviews is true, it's the good reviews that I have a hard time believing after living here. Management is corporate, so even if they are nice people (which was not my experience) you'll still get nickel and dimed to high heaven.

These are modern apartments, well designed with excellent reliable heat, fast cooling A/C and strong water pressure. And a wonderful pool! What you can’t see , but you can enjoy by living here is the incredible service! I’ve been here 16 years and always been pleased with a staff that cares about tenants. Andrea, the manager, along with Monika, the leasing consultant seem to have a consistent theme to answer tenants needs: Be Responsive & Get it fixed right the first time. Joe, John and Justin are 3 maintenance experts who can fix anything. This is the only place where a maintenance worker

There are fees on everything, even turning in information to leasing office late. The lease is completely inflexible when it comes to life changing events (like buying a home) and will charge you around 4k to break. This place is so obviously after money it's almost laughable.
UPDATE: They've just informed all residents that they are charging an extra three dollars a month because it's in the lease and they can. Seriously, don't move here. Also how do you brag about being a 5 star community when ya'll got a 2.8 on Google?

This apartment complex is beautiful on the outside but the people that work here are not in any sort of way.
Initially my roommate and I signed our lease without the proper information about ESA animals. She had called previously and they never mentioned the length of the process, therefore before signing the lease if we wanted the apartment we had to pay the pet deposit which is normal at most apartments but don’t list that you accept ESA animals if you aren’t going to disclose the amount of time it takes even with the proper

I would not recommend moving here.
Andrea, the leasing manager, is great. She's nice, and good with people. It is clear that Andrea cares about her job, however, that means she forgets that she is supplying people with their homes, and tends to have the firm corporate attitude.
Monica is not friendly at all, and most of the time seems to not know what she is doing.
The apartment itself is beautiful with good layouts, and nice countertops. However, the amount of money we spent on hidden fees and little nit picks is ridiculous.
- Late fees are 10% of the rent so god forbid you forget to pay rent

I would never recommend this apartment to anyone. Ever. The apartments themselves are decent, but the management will try to squeeze every penny out of you with muck-dwelling tactics. It says a lot about a company based on how they treat your money vs their money. I even referred a colleague here because, like I said, the apartments were decent. I never received the $100 referral bonus for this. One would assume this would happen automatically right? Nope, it doesn't. Too much time passed by the time I asked them about it, so "corporate" can't do anything about it. Amazing business tactics for

When we first moved in 2 years ago we liked our apartment and would have given 5 stars but now I would rather rate no star We would never recommend Hampton Knolls. When we moved out we cleaned the apartment from top to bottom. We took a video of the apartment to show how nice everything looked.You should always take a video or pictures when you leave.We returned our keys expecting to get our key deposit back of $40.00 then they told us it was a fee not a deposit. In the lease they charge you 125.00 for carpet cleaning. Now they are keeping our deposit of $300.00 for carpet cleaning plus a additional

You will not get your deposit back. They will make up lies to not only keep your money but charge hundreds in excess. I was charged, in addition of a carpet cleaning fee of $124 another $200 or so for basically existing in the unit with a pet. Let alone a pet fee was paid and monthly pet rent. Don't say you're pet friendly. You just like to make money off of people with pets. I'm fairly certain all the pet rent and fees more than compensate for the minimal damage my 8 pound cat did. Also, let's talk about the carpet reeking when I moved in but was told to just deal with it

I have lived at Hampton Knoll for the past six months while house hunting. My experience has been outstanding. No aspect of the apartment or the grounds has been lacking in any way. The management and maintenance folks, without exception, have been a pleasure to deal with….always professional, organized, thorough and friendly. I’ve been known to have high expectations and I was not disappointed in any way and, while I’m happy to have found a great place to buy, I will miss this place.

I loved living here, it's beautiful, clean and maintained well. Management is always on top of it. Maintenance is always prompt and efficient. My unit was private and spacious with a great view! I lived in the Wellington which is beautiful 2 bedroom end unit. The neighborhood is very friendly and many like to join in on holiday festivities which makes any neighborhood fun.
