I’m a current resident here and this is the absolute worst place to live in Akron!!! I’ve been living here for about a year and it’s been absolutely horrid. There are maintenance workers out working Monday - Sunday and I’m still in need of having my carpet replaced in my ENTIRE apartment since the first day I moved here. The rooms in the apartments are unreasonably small limiting you to only be able to set up bedrooms one way. The entire apartment complex is not properly leveled. The weather seals in your front AND back door need to be replaced because you can see outside from standing

These five stars are for Laura Ruhi who has been an excellent aide in helping me while I’ve been a resident at Cascade Village. Laura is someone who understands the community she serves and she is consistently involved with the best interest of the community at heart. I want to personally thank Laura for providing me with resources to help me with the anxiety and depression as well as lending a listening ear when it was needed. Laura deserves several outstanding reviews for the effort she has put forth in Cascade Village; her presence, guidance and good will have kept me and others well grounded

I am a 11-year resident of Cascade and part of the resident association. We have had a petition signed about the injustices that are happening at cascade and it is outrageous that when we ask for a third-party investigation they send the property manager to ask questions and see if people know what they signed two residents of the Midrise building felt threatened by the property manager and did not feel comfortable with his questioning. They want something impartial but the way they were approached it made them feel that their housing is at risk. Stop covering and start

For the past 3 years my father Bingo has resided at Cascade Village. Being handicapped he faces a number of challenges on a daily basis. The staff has been extremely helpful in helping him and his friends and family have a piece of mind concerning his living situation. From the Hiram College nursing program checking on him to the installation of grab bars to the new shower specially built for his needs, we are eternally grateful.
