As you enter the madrona lined driveway to the property from Hannah Road, you begin to sense the uniqueness of the place. The house is nestled below the ridge line - with the Olympic mountains, the Strait of Juan de Fuca beyond, and Haro Straits immediately below.

Inside Haro Haiku you'll find a blend of contemporary northwest style with a maritime tilt. The house was designed and built in 2017 and is beautifully appointed for your vacation stay on San Juan Island. The interior lets the outside in through use of sky lights and widow placements. A single bedroom with king bed, and generous closet space.
Fortunately Haro Haiku is located within easy walking distance to rural country roads for both biking and hiking. A short drive will also give access to the both Westside Scenic Preserve, and Lime Kiln Point State Park. Just down the hill from our location along West Side Rd, overlooking Haro Strait and Vancouver Island two public agencies provide trails along the shoreline and through madrona forests.
View is spectacular! The house is on a one lane road that added mystery to the location. It was centrally located on the west side of the island and everything was about 15 minutes away. There is a great lookout spot 2 minutes away to watch the sunset. Super clean, comfortable mattress and extra linens in closets.
