Spring House Apartments

Live here now! Headache Headache Headache! First of all when we first moved in, our leasing papers were messed up on 3 different occasions. We didn’t even do a walk through. They unit had a lot of problems. The people upstairs are loud and the neighbor downstairs are annoying. The rental office is bad with keeping tenants informed with important announcements.
Currently looking for another home because I don’t really renew my lease.

*August 2021 Update
So far, this place has been a headache. We live on the 2nd floor and you can hear the upstairs people walk. The floors are weak and if you have loud neighbors you will not get ANY sleep. There are spiders and nets come inside because the hallway is not kept clean. This is my first apartment I am responsible for so I was excited but now I’m ready to go!!!
FYI- nobody ever came to clean the stove!! Thank God I have an air fryer.
My mom and I moved in yesterday and we’re sadly disappointed. The stove, washer/dryer, vent was DIRTY! Toilet seats did not have plastic on them

Quiet nook of apartments. I don't live there but in the building I visited the numbers on the doors were missing. Grass hadn't been cut around the neighborhood. And cars were speeding thru the complex.

I still live here (spring house) and can't wait till my lease is over! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!

The location of spring house apartments is what I enjoyed about living there, recently moved out. Its away from the congested Laurel lakes area but only a few minutes drive to the towne centre. 2 mins away from the Laurel Dutch Market and a great dental office Montpelier Family Dentistry right in the neighborhood. The apartments are a decent size for the rate and each unit has a washer/ dryer. Walls are super thin so you will hear everything from your neighbors, conversation, cell phone alarms in the mornings, children playing, TV noise, etc so if you cannot tolerate that then keep on looking.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! You have been warned. Exterior has been updated but its like lipstick on a pig.

While living here I didn’t have many issues, but make sure you get a renovated unit. I moved in August 2017 and I moved out August 2020. During the pandemic the leasing office managers were working from home, therefore you would assume if an email or voicemail was sent/left you would receive a response during their office hours. That wasn’t the case, the communication was terrible. I needed to make an emergency move for medical reasons. My review is based on my experience as someone who was interested in leasing. The leasing office for this place is closed due to the pandemic so on the website I requested to be contacted to schedule a tour and very quickly heard from one of the managers. I was told that they were only offering virtual tours and some of the info I was provided about amenities was outdated (e.g. free membership to a local gym included with lease however that gym closed down permanently during the pandemic). The two property managers are amazing. Very receptive and always put the tenet first. Apartments are well taken care of and clean when viewing. The grilling area is amazing and always clean .
Update 11/8/2019: after being a tenant here for over a year now I do feel the property is showing a bit of its age. However the management and maintenance team are always fast to respond.
The new renovations are looking great!

SpringHouse is great! I've lived in the neighborhood for 2 years now, and my experiences have been vastly positive. The staff are competent, caring and quick to resolve issues (even after regular work hours, issues myself and others have had get immediate attention). Also, the apartments are getting a facelift, and it looks amazing!
