Hi
I was hoping that the strip of surface under the carpet 2-3 inches wide and which had dropped slightly would be repaired. The fixing nails (?) were just hammered in.

Everything is definitely very nice. However you definitely pay for it. For the premium you pay, you would expect things to run a little bit smoother. For example, the elevator in the building has been out of order for a number of weeks now. There is a second elevator which is also out of order. For a building with more than 10 stories this is unacceptable. There are elderly people here, and others who are not in great health. These people can't make it up so many flights of stairs. Also, a renter I know of lost their key in the middle of the night, and nobody was at the front desk. These are the

Apartments are safe and great. Maintenance was attended on time except the Elevator B that was out of service occasionally at 110 Towne st.

Horrible customer service. Horrible management. Horrible follow up. Expect errors on your rent statement. Expect no reply’s to your emails. Expect rudeness when you confront them with their errors. Expect arrogance oh yeah more errors the following month. It’s my opinion that they are either embezzling $$$ or have zero basic math skills with the amount of errors they make monthly.

The harassment from the resident at 306 continues. If you're renting at this apartment, know that

(1) the floors are paper thin so expect quite a bit of noise from residents living above you. It's not unbearable
(2) DO NOT RENT THE UNIT 406. THE RESIDENT STAYING AT 306 IS ABSOLUTELY CRAZY. She has called the police THRICE on me for alleged noise complaints. All 3 times the police showed up, apologized, and left within the minute. The management continues to allow this to happen.

DO NOT RENT THE UNIT 406.

I did not renew my lease after a year here.

The Key is peaceful- no issues living here thus far. The Maintenance team and Grace the concierge make it easy to live here- always kind, are respectful and responsive to tenants and the cleaning crew keeps it so clean. Thanks to Sonya in Leasing who recently helped us with an issue and was so kind. Gerald the manager handles and is responsive to all escalations.

Loved living at The Key for 2 years. I moved to the sister property across the street to 111 Harbor Point to a high floor in a hi rise. Nice neighbors, responsive staff, good location near the train and grocery shopping. Note, not my real name as I dont want anyone contacting me. I recommend.

My experience at The Key has been nothing short of exhausting and bad. The property management treats you like utter trash - has no regard for you as a human.
In the midst of the pandemic and record breaking unemployment The Key raised our rent, while every other building in the tri-state area is lowering rent or keeping it the same.
We were given the lease renewal with the increased rent with less than 60 days notice but we were just told we were expected to notify management that we were moving out BEFORE they even gave us the renewal.
The elevators go down for months at a time and we are

I've enjoyed living at The Key. It shares amenities with 111 across the street, making our building a little more quiet, with less foot traffic. You have access to 111's pool, gym, and rooftop. The Key has its own courtyard which it shares with Kayak. Living at The Key you also have access to the Finch Living events which are a lot of fun and bring a sense of community.

I enjoyed living at the Key. My husband and I had a great floor plan with large windows and a nice view. The Key shares its amenities with the sister building at 111 at Harbor point. There’s a big spacious club room, nice gym, pool which you can enjoy during the Summer. Also, I love the community events and the fact that the Key and 111 are dog and kid friendly. Close walk to restaurants and water :-)

I understand some people have negative things to say about The Key due to an incident a few years ago however, I moved into The Key 3 months ago and everything from my tour, application process and move-in was seamless. Viktoria was who I worked with, she was extremely helpful, kind and on top of her stuff. Move-in was quick and easy from getting the COI for my moving company to picking up my keys.
I've had a few small repairs that had to be made since moving in (ice maker, garbage disposal) and maintenance fixed it within a few days. I also had to get a replacement set of keys and they made a

From a perspective of location, quality of the unit, cleanliness, and modernity, I really like The Key. I have a good relationship with our doorman, the concierge at 111, and Viktoria, one of the leasing agents who's super nice. But from a management and customer service perspective, i am appalled by the way i've been treated here as a tenant, especially considering how much they charge each month. I've experienced seveal issues here: unpalatable noise from the neighbors, firecrackers in the courtyard, people power washing my deck (without notice) and stacking my furniture to block my back door

I lived here for almost a year and had a very nice stay. Leasing office is good and specially Viktoria is very nice. Our move-in process was smooth and all the repairs were done on time.

However, I had the worst exit ever and that is why I am giving it 1 star. I paid my last utility bill to Eversource but when I got my final settlement they deducted $208 from my deposit saying Eversource has billed us. They never provided any document to show that they paid to Eversource so that I can get a refund from them. Later Gerard acknowledged that there is some timing issue and he will resolve this. It

It’s a hit or miss living in these apartments. The staff has some issues! If you’re lucky, you’ll get someone nice... but that doesn’t mean they don’t have the personality/intellectual aptitude of a TSA agent from JFK. We’ve had countless issues living in the Key and would never recommend this place to anyone unless they were looking to contract a terminal illness from being exposed to idiots. Oh, are you pregnant? Perfect!!! Move here so your child can immediately suffer from birth defects. And what do I mean by that? The sheer stress of having to work around the problems of living

Update: still one star (although I wish I could give less) thanks to 1. The cookie cutter response below from Gerald and 2. The fact that instead of mailing you, emailing you, calling you (via any number of the addresses/phone numbers/email addresses they've had on file for you), they prefer to send the less than $100 you didn't know you owed to collections! Luckily the collections agency had no problem finding me, otherwise my stellar credit score may be heading for the dump just like the Key!

Some staff are really nice (Viktoria) but most people in the leasing office and front desk are extremely arrogant for no good reason as if they are all underpaid by their employers. If you want to be treated as inferior human being, welcome to move here.

Expect your packages left on the floor unattended for days. Or good luck try to find yourself a parking space in the garage because apparently there are more tenants than parking slots in the building. Not to even mention there was a gun shooting not in a recent past.

Not a safe area. Lived there for two years and had shots fired on our block. Thats not including the immediate surrounding area.

Apartments are over valued. ZERO amenities in the building. Gym, pool, etc is across the street. But your paying a leasing price like the those amenities are in the building.

There is a boxing gym on the corner. They use The Keys sidewalks everyday for workouts and running. So when you come home and want to walk inside you have to walk through thirty people doing lunge walks in front of your door.

Further more, it just took the Pinnacle company who owns the building

Overall, The Key is a great place to live. Great location, close to the train, CVS, and Fairway. All the residents and staff are friendly and polite. One star comes off because although there is no noise through the walls, the ceiling/floor is a different story, and we can hear it anytime our upstairs neighbor walks. In addition, this place is pet friendly, which is nice, but you can hear dogs barking from time to time. Rooms are larger and cheaper then 111 Harbor Point, plus you get to use their amenities (gym, game room, and pool). Parking can be a bit of a problem, as you get a non-guaranteed
