This place has great soup and ambience and many dining options. The dilapidated walk up into an urban oasis filled with greenery is a very pleasant surprise. So far have only had a very strong coffee and an interesting soup but look forward to trying more from their expansive menu. Super friendly and honorable service, initially just wanted to get a to go coffee but they only had to go cups for to go bubble tea and they directed me to a couple of local places they thought would be good for me to go to with hot coffee (this was a slow day for them too) before deciding to sit down and enjoy the atmosphere

Food looks good but its mediocre, service is bad/ there not rude but there was no acknowledgement as a server. Both of our waters had white stuff in it. Silverware was dirty as if they just rinse it with no soap or any type of brushing . The mango fried rice was a 1/5 ( the shrimp was little to none/ chopped up) My noodles had full shrimps in it though.

Very delicious vegan restaurant in Chinatown.
We got the steamed dumplings, salad rolls, the birds nest, and the Tom Yum with Tofu. I recommend this place. The entrance from the street is odd, but when you walk in, go to the 2nd floor and you will find the door into the restaurant. Not loud, and great for conversations.

Good vegan food. It was good but not great.
I was visiting family in Boston and wanted to try this place due to all the great reviews, pictures and of course because it's all vegan. My family members (all non vegan) voluntarily came along and were willing to try it.
There were six of us in the group. We went on a Sunday afternoon for dinner and they were busy. The servers and staff are mostly all older and have a hard time understanding questions.
I ordered appetizers for all to try - the golden triangle, fried dumplings, fried tofu rolls and fried wonton. These were tasty and were a hit

Came here on a weekend and it was spacious and nice and quiet! The service was fast and the bird's nest dish was absolutely delicious. Love that everything is plant-based and the menu is large. Plus there's boba and desserts. This did not feel like a 'vegan' cafe, it felt like any other Thai restaurant. We will be back!

I came here with a group of 9 and we had made a reservation. We arrived around 5:30 and the restaurant became pretty busy closer to 6:30. The food was really flavorful and I was pleasantly surprised by the "meat". I shared the birds nest with someone and it was plenty. Everyone else in my party enjoyed their food too! The staff was really friendly and accommodating.

Entrance is ok.. could use some update or cleaning.. but that's Chinatown.. located in the 2nd floor.. we didn't wait to get seated but they got kinda busy.. food is just OK not great. They maid a mistake with my order coz I wanted tofu but they gave me vegan chicken instead. I liked the appetizer we got which is the fresh spring roll with peanut sauce on the side.

I've been here twice now and have tried an array of their offerings: pad khee mao, pad Thai, wonton soup, Tom kha soup, spring rolls, shrimp fried rice, and sweet & sour chicken (all vegan, obvi). Almost all of those have fallen somewhere between okay and good, with the best being the spring rolls and wonton soup, oddly enough.
Expect the fake meats to all be more or less identical (similar to those at Grasshopper in Allston) and the noodles to be on the heavier, greasier side. Service is often slow and the women's bathroom is apocalyptic in a way that I tend to like.

I've heard a lot about My Thai, and I was excited to go! As a vegetarian it's difficult to get food sometimes, so finding out about My Thai was great!
I got spring rolls, fried wontons, and fried noodles. The fried wontons were so crispy! For the noodles, I wasn't the biggest fan of the taste of the veggie beef, and there was too much sauce, bit the noodles were great otherwise.

Absolutely love My Thai Vegan!! It’s one of my favorite restaurants, I take all of my meat eater friends, and friends who travel from outside of Massachusetts to this restaurant. And they’re all in love with it!! Highly recommend their pad Lee mao noodles, the mango curry w/ chicken, and the bird’s nest! I also love their tofu triangles, spring rolls, sweet and sour soup, cakes, and Boba drinks. You will definitely be satisfied!! The bill is pretty affordable for this incredible spread. 10/10 recommended.

Can't believe I haven't reviewed this place before... I've been visiting for 10+ years!
Maybe because it's not much to look at and easy to miss as you walk around busy chinatown.
But if you're vegan or just like your meat- free options (that's me!) this is not a place to sleep on!
It offers a very comprehensive Thai vegan menu. And awesome bubble tea and desserts. Over the years I keep coming back for the curry "duck" (I rotate between the yellow, red, and green curries).
I was not surprised to see that prices have gone up quite a bit since I last visited

Very average Thai find in Boston. We came in towards the beginning of opening time and were the only ones in for a while. Service was extremely slow amidst 4 servers/hosts being present with only us in the restaurant. Normally I don't really care but we were in a hurry to get through lunch and be ready for afternoon meetings.
The best part of the meal was the tofu soup - very flavorful, hot, and filling. Noodles and curry were unfortunately pretty bland with no spice. They also didn't accept requests to add spice level which is a little odd for a Thai place. I appreciated the number

The aesthetic could use some freshening up, but don’t let that keep you from trying this hidden gem in downtown Boston! The side entrance/walk up after dark is a little off-putting but the food was well worth it!!! The service was friendly and prompt, but the food was the show stopper. We got #126 beef and broccoli & #111 green curry (vegan beef and vegan chicken) and both were some of the best we’ve had!

I really enjoyed going here!! It was pretty busy, but considering that the service was great. The menu is online, and I happened to be the only one with a phone that day so everyone had to use mine. For those new to hole in the wall ish places like this, it might be kind of difficult to find but it’s so busy it can be found soon enough. Food was delicious, I wish I got to try the vegan shrimp but the chicken was great.

If you're in the mood for thai food, this is a great place! It is conveniently located fairly close to downtown crossing, so it is very central and accessible. The flavor profile is AMAZING! The soup was great as well. I came for the lunch special and for the price paid - there is an amazing variety of food that comes with it.
I do want to emphasize that it is a vegan/vegetarian place, so even if the menu says chicken/shrimp/beef/etc., chances are you are getting TVP (textured vegetable protein) of some variety to mimic the texture and mouthfeel of meat. I got the shrimp and was really excited

Solid Thai food! I'm not vegan but someone we came with was - I'm personally not adventurous enough to try the veggie chicken/beef/seafood options they had but the menu was huge and extensive! If I was to return I'd probably just get takeout.
The actual restaurant is pretty no-frills (I could've used a water refill, also warm people beware this is on the second floor of a building without AC) so I wouldn't go for the ambiance. But the prices are very reasonable and the portions are large!

I came here on Fourth of July and the wait was really long. They seemed really understaffed with one guy taking care of cleaning tables, handling online orders, and seating people. There was a lot of people in the restaurant and also waiting for a table.
The food itself was really good and huge portions for the price. We got 2 noodle dishes (pad Thai and pad kee mow) and it was more than enough to share with 3 people. Each dish came with a variety of fake meats and tofu. I would skip the boba though - the boba was hard and was more like a slushie than an actual boba. It was funny because we could
