Went for breakfast and lunch and had a really great experience. Great menu options: the gourmet coffee was really good (personally loved the seasonal fall latte), great pastries, yummy soup and sandwiches. Everything tasted really good and fresh. LOVED that the cafe is right on the water - nothing better than good food with a view. The staff was very friendly and quick. Cafe was clean and nicely decorated. Highly recommend!!

This hidden gem will knock your socks off. I just had their Thanksgiving Sandwich with my own little twist but the flavors came together like an amalgamation of deliciousness. The breakfast all day is clutch and the food options are vast! The staff is great and I promise you will not have a full bite!

I came back again because the first time it was really good. This time I ordered a bacon egg cheese and it was extremely messy. They didn't even cut the top part of the croissant all the way, they just shoved the eggs and bacon inside. When I took it out of the bag it was literally rolled up as if I ordered a burrito.... I have to hold everything in place just to eat it as a regular sandwich.

It was a fluke we dropped in here one morning. We both ate egg & bacon on English muffins and split a REMARKABLE & giant season appropriate pumpkin muffin!! Tiny little shop inside, but a worthy stop for freshly made, cooked to order breakfast!!! Can imagine the afternoon menu is equally as awesome!!

I've had an excellent soup and fruit cup from here, and, this morning, this great breakfast of avocado and cheese omelet, home fries, 7 grain toast, and better-than-average sausage. They have outdoor tables as well as indoor. The people who run Bean & Leaf are very hospitable. It's a small business and there are fewer and fewer of those remaining in the Financial District post-COVID.

Bean & Leaf seems to be primarily a breakfast spot, but their lunch options are fantastic. The location is prime for individuals working in the financial district. The staff is incredibly friendly and they are very quick. They have a variety of rotation lunch specials and I have yet to be disappointed with any. They also have (homemade?) lemonade and other beverages that are fantastic.

We stopped here for a quick breakfast bite before a day of sightseeing. I was bummed I had purchased a cup of over-priced fruit at Quincy Market, because the Bean & Leaf also had a cup of fruit that was reasonably priced, and looked more fresh. We ordered two coffee drinks and two breakfast sandwiches. Only four stars for the Cafe because they didn't get our order 100% correct.
My husband ordered a macchiato, which I appreciated comes very traditional to the Italian way. No extras... it will have the shot of espresso (or a double-shot if you order that size) and the appropriate milk ratio. My

My family and I went here for breakfast a few days in a row since our hotel didn't offer free breakfast and it was just a block away. They have a lot of options for breakfast including breakfast sandwiches, which could be served on different kinds of bread, omelets, muffins, and more. They also had good coffee options--the hot mocha was really good! They also have a little place next to the counter with all the stuff you could possibly need for your food/drinks like napkins, sugar, straws, coffee stirs, etc. I ordered the sausage, egg, and cheese served on a plain bagel all 3 times we went

This place is a gem!! Stopped by here for lunch after a visit to the aquarium and oh my goodness - it was hard to choose a sandwich because they all looked amazing!! The staff were so sweet and clearly love what they are doing. We sat outside with our kids and everyone gobbled up all their food!! The chocolate chip cookies were DELICIOUS.

Small place with couple of outdoor tables. Serves mostly soup, salad etc. mostly Mediterranean food. I went to quickly grab some food with my colleagues. They order some Mediterranean roll ups. I found the daily special interesting and wanted to try it. It was Mango chicken with salad and rice. It was hot in temperature and sweetish in taste. I am not a big fan of sweet food but this was flavorful. Loved it!! My colleagues seemed okay with their lunch.. so it was definitely not bad.
I don't think I will go back because I didn't find anything else in the menu that I wish to try. It&apos

Ordered about 15 plates for my company's Thanksgiving lunch and could not have been happier with our order. The meals came individually packed and covid safe- we got the turkey dinner which was absolutely delicious and came with all of the staple sides and even a salad/bread for everyone. Christine was in constant communication with me about our order, and even offered to make substitutions for dietary restrictions/allergies. Delicious food, amazing service! Will be ordering again for our next company luncheon :)

I order Seamless from her regularly, and I always order the same thing- turkey avocado sandwich with brie. The brie costs an extra 50 cents but its so worth it. They use Iggy's bread which is a local bread store in Cambridge. The sandwiches are delicious and well stuffed - you can add lots of veges to make it healthy!
If you want a delicious sandwich, go to Bean & Leaf. You won't be getting cold stale sandwiches sitting in the fridge, these are freshly made!

While the food here is okay, I have to say the service I continue to receive from one employee is unacceptable. Today I placed and order in which she attempted to upcharge me significantly more than what was listed on the menu. When questioned she then tried to explain that what I wanted was just a small addition but the other item would be more... I stated that is NOT WHAT I ORDERED. Her attitude then changed and she was very cold with me, and seemingly went to talk to the cooks for what seemed a little too long.

Breakfast on a weekday at 7:30 AM, they were still working on getting set up so I was the only one in here. I opted for the ham & cheese omelet with home fries and with coffee, it came to a round $10. A few minutes later, the young lady brought my breakfast to my table.
Huge omelet. The fluffy kind, not the flat kind, which is my favorite. A good amount of ham and cheese in there, I could only eat half of it. Potatoes were good but I thought too salty. They have a great selection of hot sauces on the counter and the Cholula added an appropriate amount of kick for breakfast.

We walked around for a coffee shop and came across bean&leaf. It's a no frills kinda place, but the food and coffee was everything thrills.
Breakfast burrito was on point with a multitude of hot sauces to choose from. Their drip coffee was surprisingly smooth, and I had no complaints with their dirty chai.
There's a row of seats inside if you want to take a quick bite. My only regret is not getting their pistachio muffin that felt like it was just baked.

I've passed by the Bean & Leaf Cafe numerous times. It is located down the street from the Custom House, which now houses a Marriott Vacation Club, and sits in the shadow of the building that somewhat resembles a crown.
Open for breakfast and lunch on weekdays, I've been meaning to give them a shot for a while, but since I don't go out for work day meals as often as others might, I never made it out to the Bean & Leaf Cafe till just recently.
After perusing their menu, and their Yelp reviews, I figured I'd try two things: Turkey Chili ($5 for 12 oz, $6 for 16 oz)
