Cafe Quattro
Located at 817 Harrison Ave, we are right in the middle of all the action of Boston Medical Center, and Boston's Historic South End. We serve a wide array of hand-tossed thin-crust pizza, Italian sandwiches, fresh pastas, as well as cappuccino, espresso, latte, and coffee. We pride ourselves in serving only the finest, freshest ingredients available.

Our breads are baked specially for us and delivered daily. All of our provisions are top of the line. Pizza is available by the slice or 20 pies each made in the old-fashioned Italian-American tradition. Don't forget, we also feature a full espresso menu featuring LavAzza beans imported from Italy.

I've only gotten the takeout pizza from here.

Food:
- The pizza is ok. It is a very average pizza. The crust is not too thin or thick. The price (~$15 small, ~$20 large) is pretty reasonable for the food that you are getting.

Atmosphere:
- Can't comment on as I've only gotten takeout

Service:
- Can't comment on as I've only gotten takeout

Overall:
- A very average experience. There are so many other gems in South End for about the same price that I would prefer to go to. However, I have only gotten the pizza from here so perhaps the other menu items tell a different

Affordable price for quality pasta/sandwich/pizza near BUMC/BMC. I've tried many of their items, such as the pesto pasta, chicken parmesan pasta, and pepperoni pizza. Everything was very good. The pizza came with a huge slice for only around $5, which usually lasts me for 2 meals.

Walk in and your nose tells you “good food found here.” Best panini ever. Salad was as fresh at an 8pm pickup as would have expected at the start of the day. Thanks for a delightful dinner ahead of Northeastern Move In. We will be back!!

While in town for a conference at Boston Medical Center, I ordered lunch from here since it was close in proximity and was recommended by others ....

I tried the eggplant parm platter that came with ziti. It was pretty good - it comes with a good helping of ziti that I couldn't finish .

I was able to order online , pay online and pick up for the desired time :)

I also had my eye on the chicken pesto panini but maybe next time I'm in town again.

BTW- the have Pepsi products not Coke just in case you prefer Diet Coke etc

Cafe Quattro is the BEST Italian take out spot in the South End by far, and can rival some of the North End spots if you ask me. Super friendly staff, high quality homemade ingredients and very reasonable prices as well. If you haven't tried their pizza, you are missing out. It's my favorite pizza in Boston. Their cannoli's are great too! I've tried nearly everything on their menu and have never once been disappointed. Only 'complaint' is that I wish they were open on Sundays but I fully understand the need to take a day off. Keep up the great work!!!

I love the pizza here! It's even better if you order it with spicy peppers. The arancini, chicken parm and eggplant parm are really good, too. I've ordered takeout many times and I've never been disappointed.

Just stopped by to grab a slice. Gives new meaning to the word flop. Absolute mush. I went back and they gave me some fresh slices that were just as bad. I basically had to dangle it over my mouth and inhale it. Whoever made the crust made it so thin the sauce was bleeding through. They also gave me six plates which seems a bit wasteful in my opinion.

Good food, efficient service and a very friendly staff-- what else can you ask for? Stepping into this café was an experience from beginning to end. We were happily greeted by Evan who took our order. While waiting for our order, Evan kept our minds off the hunger by speaking to us about the exiting events Cafe Quattro will be taking a part of.

Great COVID takeout meal on a cold night. Ordered an eggplant parm serving and a "small" Florentine pizza (12 inches) and were really satisfied with both of them. The eggplant parm was HUGE (two of us had servings and had HALF left for tomorrow) and the pizza was also pretty large (definitely not a 'personal' size pizza) - both were packaged well and still warm upon delivery (on a below freezing night!).

The eggplant parm had a good balance of eggplant/cheese/pasta - nothing fancy, and if I had to pick something to improve I think the pasta could have been better seasoned

Great place, great food, I like everything I've tried, nothing disappoints. They treat ppl really nice and when they get to know you they treat you like family, really worth making the effort to get there and try good food. The cannoli is great.

I remember when they were on Beacon Hill. I had lunch at this location today for the first time. It was as great as I remember! Superb food and original owner who works harder than just about anybody, it was nice to see a little line outside. Go here, you won't be sorry.

A solid place to grab a bite in between my classes nearby. I love coming here for their slices of pizza. $4.25 will get you "a slice" which is really 2. They have one flavor that rotates everyday and your standard cheese and pepperoni.

Everyone's super nice here which is a big plus. To be honest, I've only had one of their pasta dishes -- their Diavolo. It's marked as spicy, and had a very very slight kick to it. Not much else to say. I wouldn't come here if it was out of my way, but it's a good choice when already here

I love Cafe Quattro. Let me take a second to compliment the workers there. They are so kind and communicative. As you order, they just make your day. I recommend this to anyone who wants cheap and quick lunch or dinner.

I've been going to this place for a while now and I never regret it. The pizza slice is cheap compared to anywhere in boston. The quality isn't amazing but it's good. The restaurant is small but cute. I will continue to go here for lunch or dinner. Thanks Cafe Quattro!

Yum. Great little counter spot near BMC. Salad dressing was homemade and greens were fresh. Gramma Pizza was delish and thin, maybe a little undercooked but we ate it all :) great, friendly service. The bathroom isn't open to the public for obvious reasons being so close to the hospital, but they will open it for customers like they did for me.

I'm giving this place 3.5 stars only because the staff (owner?) is so friendly and the pizza is DELICIOUS!
An order of one slice is actually two and for less than $5 for pepperoni, it's a bargain. Thin crust and crispy, it is amazing!

Otherwise, I just don't understand the glowing reviews that got me to give this place a try. I always want to go to local small businesses every chance I get but this is not one of them for me. I've had the baked ziti and found it so bland, I would have thrown it away except I was absolutely starving. Plus, I waited 30 minutes for it, a

I used to eat at Cafe Quattro when they were on Suffolk Campus and was so sad when they closed down. I heard they re-opened in the South End a while back but never had the chance to come. I just moved to the neighborhood about a month ago and eat at or pick up Cafe Quattro at least once a week.

The food is always so fresh with good ingredients and the service is always so great.

This is definitely a no frills, order at the counter caffe, but the staff are always so wonderful so we end up eating there quite a bit.

My go to is the chicken bruschetta panini and my fiancé always gets the prosciutto

I often get friendly, quick service from Cafe Quattro. Their salads were decently portioned, reasonably priced, and filling enough with a big side of salad dressing. Definitely coming back to grab lunch from here soon!

Great Italian food and good value! Had Cafe Quattro in my office Park for lunch and had a meatball and a chicken parm subs and an arancini - they were all so good and clearly home made. The value was really good, I got all that for $10. Hard to beat that kind of price for how delicious and large portioned this lunch was. Highly recommend!

For $3 the Arancini is big but not great. Not crispy outside and gloppy inside with bland cheese filling. The sauce was good and fresh though.

Chicken parm over ziti was excellent though! Huge order - more than enough for two meals. Perfectly cooked ziti with ricotta and cheese and excellent sauce, and a couple of perfectly cooked breaded chicken breasts.

Did in mention a huge portion it was for $8??

The staff is friendly welcoming and made conversation after asking if I liked my food. This goes a long way l
