Our owner, Steve Stonecipher-Fisher, has been a runner for more than 40 years, and it was his passion for and experience in the sport that led him to open the store. Extremely knowledgeable and personable crew working here. My Boyfriend just bought a Kona Blast mountain bike and loves it. I keep coming back for repairs, add-on upgrades, and workout shoes. They have something for everyone, no matter if you commuter by bike for work, take part in endurance races, or like to go riding off-road.

Called ahead to ask about a bike repair - they told us to bring the bike in right away. When I arrived, a nice employee came running out to help me unload the bike. He brought it to their outdoor tent (not allowing people inside due to COVID). They called with a quote and finished the job the same day. I knew it was going to be a big lift for the employees, so I was astounded by the turnaround time.
Definitely recommend them to everyone else for any bike repairs.

I got running shoes here today, and the guy who helped me was helpful but not overbearing and let me try on and try out as many shoes as I wanted, providing helpful advice along the way. Shoes were a decent price. While I was in he gave us great trail tips and showed us some other stuff I was interested in learning more about, without ever coming off as condescending or know it all (we've all been to outdoor shops where people are that way, haven't we?). Highly recommend! The other staff seemed just as down to earth and helpful.

I rented a cyclocross bike from these guys on a recent trip to Columbia for a wedding. Was very impressed at the price of the rental for 3 days and the friendliness of the staff. Unfortunately, when I actually rode the bike, it hadn't been serviced in a while. The front derailleur wouldn't shift to the big chain ring, the tires were low pressure at 30 PSI (instead of 45-75) and the derailleur cable was so frayed that it broke off at the pinch point. The guys at CycleExtreme helped me out with a free adjustment on the bike, but it was disappointing that there were problems like this

I can't say enough about the exceptional service Nate provided during the ride. If this is any indication of how the store conducts business it is great!
He had great knowledge of the bicycles he was working on. He was friendly and prompt, getting the work done efficiently and completely.
I can't say enough about the service received that week with everyone he had contact with.
If I'm ever in Columbia and need bicycle service, I know where I'm going!

I love this place! If you are in need of running shoes, this is the place to get them. You can try on their shoes and run on the treadmill before you buy them. I love the idea of it because if you are a runner, you want good shoes that will last and support your feet! They are also on Facebook, and I love how they post when their big sales are!
