We rented a room for our son on Oct. 1. It has been over a month and he still has not been given a working key to his appartment. He doesn’t have access to the front gate. He doesn’t have access to the amenities such as the weight room. Last night, because his roommates were out, he had to wait an hour for Katrina with the management company to let him in his appartment.

My daughter has been here for a few months and her monthly fee is $863. She has been paying $1200 a month for the past three months due to being unable to change the amount on her automated feature that she has to pay from. It has been a nightmare to get someone on the phone beyond the sweet customer service rep that answers the phone at the on location facility. They can only send a message for someone to call you and that has been a huge issue. Terrible communication from higher up!!! It has taken two weeks to resolve two issues....and it is still not resolved. can only communicate through email

Signed my lease last year with the old management and had a disappointing experience. The new management is not better and does not manage the property well.
The dog park has never been maintained (broken lights, ground is mostly dirt) ,
the gym is only suitable for 3-4 people and has damaged equipment,
The dog waste bin outside the front gate has not been changed in weeks and is overflowing and smells awful; I brought up this issue to the office 3 days ago and nothing has been done, still full.
Hearing that lease rates are increasing is seriously concerning. This place has not made any improvement

Apartment complex is nice enough, but the new management company is terrible. Last fall, the previous management company enticed current residents to re-sign their lease for this year by assuring them that they would not pay the rent increase by signing early. The new management company did not honor this and her rent was raised. Even after numerous complaints they refused to honor the agreement made last year. The new management company also instituted the use of SimpleBills to pay monthly utilities. SimpleBills charges a $65 annual service fee for merely accepting our payments. This was never

My son has lived at Caplewood for 2 years and it's been a terrific place...very clean, convenient, attentive new management, fantastic amenities. I'm disappointed thought that the new management has raised rental rates by nearly $200/month starting in Aug. 2020. My son will be moving elsewhere because of this rate increase. It doesn't appear that renters are getting any additional amenities with the rate increase.

I currently live at Tradition on Caplewood & signed my lease for next year as well!! I have nothing but good things to say about this place, other than we do only get $25 a bedroom for utilities which you would think be enough but it isn’t so we get like $15-$25 in overages every month. However, this apartment complex is by far the best in Tuscaloosa!! Maintenance is great, comes super fast! Tradition has a nice gym, pool, and a plus of a tanning bed! I totally consider that you check it out!

This apartment complex has been extremely disappointing and the management is absolutely terrible.
The apartment management did not have the keys to our complex working when we moved in, and it took approximately a month to get a working key. We were not informed via any official channel that this was the case & had to take time out of our day to go down to the leasing office to figure out what was wrong. The desk staff were extremely patronizing when my roommates came to inquire about the status of our keys.
Our dishwasher broke within about a month of moving in & it took about four maintenance
