I had a really good experience with Sherrill! I had a few maintenance issues and they were always dealt with right away. The only “complaint” I had was that they don’t have online pay but it really wasn’t that inconvenient. Everybody in the office was really nice every time I went in for anything as well!

My son has lived at one of these properties for two years now. When I ask about lead paint due to the age of the hose (90 years old) all they kept saying was that to the best of their knowledge there was no lead based paint. I never got a straight answer for such an important issue. When I asked to speak to a manager I never was able to.
fast forward two years- last week my sons car was stolen. The back of the house is extremely dark. We put up a motion camera and light fixture earlier in the year - which we paid for the light and the installation. He needed another light on the second back

I don’t have enough nice words to say about this company and their staff to cover my appreciation for them throughout the years. I have been renting from Sherrill Realty since 2016, and they have always been friendly and accommodating to all of my needs. If you are looking for affordable housing options in the heart of Tuscaloosa, you need to check out Sherrill Realty. Ask for Whitney and she will find the best house, apartment or townhome for your budget. I get compliments all the time on my apartment, and friends are shocked I have so much space (on top of the good location) for what I pay

Unfortunately there's not a lot of choice when it comes to renting in a college town but to do business with the status quo. That's what you get from Sherrill Realty. Repeatedly during the year my UA student rented with Sherrill the students asked for things in the house to be addressed. Repeatedly all they got from Sherrill was silence. Upon leaving the rental after a thorough cleaning Sherrill did not refund their deposit and listed the reasons as issues the students called about over the course of the year. Nice that this company takes advantage of their younger perhaps not as business

You will not get your deposit back. We declared broken blinds (it was a single chipped blind) on the move in form and they refused to fix it during the time we lived there AND deducted it from our refund. We paid a professional cleaning company $200 to do a move out clean, which was done very thoroughly. We hired cleaners to get our full deposit back but they still took out a huge amount for additional cleaning, which was most definitely not necessary. This review is mainly pertained to the issues regarding my deposit. Otherwise, my time leasing with Sherrill Realty was alright, no issues with

The location is great, my apartment is decent for what it is but they never fix my AC. They will fix it long enough to work for a few weeks and then it stops. It’s currently 85° inside my apartment so I’m having to stay at a friends. This has happened 5 times... and I have only been here for 5 months.
I write a check and drop it off at the office monthly and they never deposit it in a timely manor. Major headache. I would not recommend

I give one star because none is not an option. Our house is infested with mold and cockroaches, and they do absolutely nothing about it. If you say anything they just say okay and then never do anything. Not to mention they are overcharging for a house that is literally about to fall in, when there is brand new places for the same price on the same street. Constant leaks from the ceiling and there solution is to paint over the stains. I never leave reviews, but I find them beyond unprofessional and way more than a hassle than it is worth.

Never used this realty company, but they just had 16 cars towed from a house that charged 40$ for parking for the football game, Alabama vs Tennessee. My daughter had to pay 165.00 to get her car back. They were not the ones at fault here, the renters deceived the people who parked. They should have fined the girls who parked everyone not the people who parked there. There were several people that came from out of town and this is how you treated them. If you have a problem with your renters then take it up with your renters not innocent people who came to watch the game.

Been here 2 years and I cannot wait to move. They don't fix anything, they don't spray apartments for bugs, and are extremely rude. I have cleaned the place, sprayed, even have bug plugins to keep them a way and still nothing. I keep calling and all I get is oh there will be there next week and it's been 2 months... cannot wait for lease to be done. Doesn't even deserve one star.

My son and his friend rented at The Tide. It was very dirty when they moved in and a depressing place to live. They required an $800 damage deposit and charged $105 for cleaning because a towel and a bottle of shampoo was left behind. They also have an extremely old a/c heating system so the utility bills were ridiculously high. Furthermore, they don't allow the tenant to shampoo their own carpet - they do it for an inflated price and take it out of the damage deposit. Somehow they worked everything out such that the boys received ZERO back. They claim that they have no email (HELLO

I've lived in 2 different places from them and they both have this in common: great location, great price, and the places themselves were decent. a little old and dingy but could be much worse. but the service is not the best..if you need any maintenance done to your place, don't expect them to be there within the month.

I rented from them for a year, broken AC since move in and no one wants to come to fix it. Very old house and very dirty environment. You can't sleep when the train comes through every night. People at the office is greedy and rude, they want to milk you for every penny, if you leave a fork in the house before moving out they will charge you. No one responds to any complaint and nothing gets fixed. Avoid this place at all cost.

I'm guessing some of the bad reviews came from people who either didn't follow the rules or made other poor decisions. I am ridiculously impressed with the people at Sherrill Realty! My daughter is going to the U of A (Roll Tide!!) this fall, but decided to move early from California!! We saw the apartment she was going to rent about a month ago and decided that it was a perfect fit for her. The move 2400 miles away from home went smoothly. The apartment was move-in ready and the small fixes were addressed in a most timely manner! Whitney promised that my daughter would be well taken care of, and

I moved into a one bedroom one bathroom newly renovated apartment at the sherrill plaza back in March 2015. I've only had a few things that needed repair and they were fixed before I even got home from work. Other than the noise of the train and the game day chaos I've enjoyed my experience here. It's a small apartment but there is plenty of room for one person.

My daughter stayed her last semester at their property at 1003 14th St, Tuscaloosa. It wasn't the fanciest property but was priced accordingly. It was a great value for the money. It was no wonder they have parking passes it was only 4 blocks from the football stadium and when Alabama plays it's kinda hard to find parking. When we moved my daughter back home they allowed me to park my trailer there for the week while she packed everything. Would defiantly use them again if the need came about.

We lived in a Sherrill Realty apartment for one year and despite the musty odor, roaches for the first six months and the fact that the apartment was anything but new, we didn't have too many issues while we lived there. We always paid our rent on time and even cleaned up whenever they came to show our place.
The rude awakening came when we moved out. We thoroughly cleaned the apartment and in the end it was way cleaner than it had been when we moved in. We knew they would charge us for the carpet cleaning regardless of what we did, but despite all our efforts they also charged us for cleaning
