Here at Trautman Fitness, our workouts are designed to get you moving like nature intended. Our natural, fundamental movement pattern is gait cycle; that is, crawling, walking, and running. Every other movement we do, like swinging, jumping, cutting, throwing, etc. is a variation of gait cycle.

Likewise, any muscle imbalance will create inefficient movement restrictions at one or more points in our gait cycle which cause limited athleticism and even pain and injuries.We combine a wide variety of gait-cycle-based strength training with stretching and mobility in to a full-body circuit training workout to build functional, athletic strength, speed, power, endurance, and injury resilience.

I’ve played professional hockey for 14 years now and in that time I’ve had many forms of training and treatment throughout my career. Working with Dan and John has not only prolonged my career, but given me a different perspective on how to approach each and every day on how to achieve peak performance. I’m a competitive bodybuilder & powerlifter. I came to Dan originally because I had a back injury that seemed impossible to fix. By this time I accepted the fact that there were certain exercises I wouldn’t be capable of performing anymore. After about 4 straight months of working with Dan, not ONLY can I do these exercises my back problems held me back from but I’m even stronger than I was from before my injuries.
I’ve been injury free ever since but continue to see Dan on a regular basis for an added edge to my performance that is hard to achieve with basic training.

AXON is unlike any other "gym" I have been to. I have seen more results in a shorter time frame than I have seen after years working out at other facilities. Dan creates an individual, custom strength training program for each of his members, designed to improve mental and physical strength, mobility and endurance. He pairs this with a method of searching your body for weaknesses that may cause injury or prevent you from pushing through barriers to get even stronger. Each time I go in, I can actually see my progress and track it, which feeds my competitive side as well. I have never pushed myself

I got great results from Axon! It sped up my recovery process immensely and was able to fix my glute issue in just a few sessions. I was amazed by how well their services work and I would recommend Axon to anyone looking to rehab something or gain a competitive edge.
100% would recommend Axon to others. Axon uses equipment and strategies that are ahead of its time and the results speak for themself. It is great resource for recovery and for training. No matter if you are a competitive athlete or just a recreational one, axon is a great place for athletes to go!

Axon Sport Performance has changed my life. After six years of a complicated leg injury and multiple surgeries, Dan was able to make my leg pain free and stronger than ever. After surgery I was told that I wouldn’t be able to play competitive sports anymore. The i-MyoPro and Axon’s training methodology has allowed me to gain my confidence back and build strength in my leg where I am able to play sports at a competitive level again.
