I've been trying to get back on my fitness game recently and have been eyeing dr pilates for a while and I finally took a class last night with Jennifer. I'd say I was out of shape with no core strength. The class was so hard!! But Jennifer pushed me to keep going and motivated me to finish the class. It was an all levels class but it kicked my bum real bad. Great burns. We used weights and a box on top of the reformer which was also fun. Jennifer did not have any breaks in between which I appreciated and she changed all the weights for us on the reformer which saved a lot of time. She

I really have loved taking classes at DR Pilates. This is a space were I could normally feel nervous about asking questions but the staff and teachers have always been so amazing and helpful. It's been such a cool process to watch my body change and become stronger from classes at DR Pilates. I couldnt recommend it more!!!!

I must say that I am a bit obsessed with Pilates. Being a dancer I was attracted to this type of exercise 20 years ago, but then a recent car accident brought me back. I started at DR Pilates with Tatiana O about 3 years ago doing privates for rehabilitation. I continued with my classes/treatment with various teachers and my body is so happy. This is such an amazing workout -- tough but powerful -- it makes you do the work to get your results. I find myself constantly checking my Mind Body app for class openings and such. Perfect for men or women, young and especially old. It is so important for

I will say I haven’t taken a class at their facilities (yet), but I was stuck with my bike in the street (forgot the key lock at home) minutes before an appointment nextdoor to their business, and the guy at the reception/entrance was super kind and understanding of my situation and let me store my bike inside the classroom without being a member or someone he knew beforehand.
I’m sure that level of customer service and kindness reflects in their business too, so there goes my five stars! Thank you!!

I love my experience at dr pilates. Catie Quinn is the best. She has a classic approach which I prefer. She is upbeat, kind and spirited. She truly has a passion for the techniques and for her class participants. Pilates is already challenging but I feel really comfortable and at ease while working with her. And that means a lot to me.
The studio is always extremely clean and the staff is super nice!!

SCAM! I bought $400 worth of classes at this place and then they closed for Covid. We never took ONE SINGLE class. They refuse to give a refund and have even fought this with my credit card company.
So in this time where we all need to hunker down and try to survive, they survive by in my opinion basically STEALING MY MONEY. Shame on you.

Pilates classes are fine. The real issue I had was with the purchase of a 5-pack that expired before I was able to make all the classes: it expired only a few days before I tried to book, and they would not allow me to reinstate the classes.
It would have cost the studio almost nothing -- $28x2=$56 is the retail price (much less for the cost to them, and classes regularly go for as low as $24/class) -- plus they would have kept a happy and grateful customer who trusted the studio.
Instead, they blamed the company that they hired to send out the email blast, taking no responsibility or attempt

I took Bootylicious Power Hour class and it was tough ! Instructor was very informative and she made sure that every student had a good posture to start with ! I find Pilates to be the hardest workout but it's very fun ! This class focused on inner thighs , booty (of c) and a bit of upper body . I'll go back to try Reformer! Studio is very cozy and ample street parking !

I signed up for an all abilities class. It was my first time at any Pilates reformer class. I had no idea what I was doing and the instructor Wes did nothing to set me up with the basics. I was lost and every muscle was pulled the next day because Wes doesn't believe in stretching first. I did sweat a tiny bit.
My second class - the beginner - also had no stretching beforehand. Eeda was impatient and short with me and mostly focused her attention on one student of the three in that class. I didn't get anywhere near actual sweat.
This is not the place for people who want cardio. Overall

I can not humanly express how much I love this pilates studio. The monthly membership is extremely reasonable and the teachers are absolutely incredible. My favorites are Ava, Torrie and Adelene.
I started pilates because of an IT Injury from SoulCycle, and I can't humanly express how much better my mind and body function. This place is incredible and I couldn't imagine a better way to spend my 7am weekday mornings. Come in and take a class!

I just did my first pilates class ever here and I had a blast! The teacher Hilary was very helpful when I told her I was recovering from knee tendinitis. She made sure to check up on me and quickly helped me out when needed. Her energy was also infectious and helped bring life into the room.
I love how small and intimate the class is. The environment is super friendly especially for a newbie like me. The class feels like a group private lesson which is nice.
Make sure to read the signs when parking!

Amazing instruction, best classic reformer Pilates I've experienced in LA. This is just my opinion, but it seems that a lot of the Pilates in LA has been heavily influenced by the Lagree method. While I'm also a fan of Lagree from time to time (when I want to really make myself suffer and get see those abs!), Lagree instructors tend to focus on exhausting muscle groups. Again, sometimes that's great, but the body is not always ready for that level of intensity -- and I feel the classes here are more straight-up informed by the Pilates tradition itself. So it all depends on what

I love this pilates studio. I started here before switching to the Mid-Wilshire location full-time.
Each instructor has a different style. Some instructors are traditional/ repetitive/easier and some are modern/ mix it up /challenging. I personally like a challenge. I want to feel every worked muscle after class. I thought I found my favorite instructor until I tried more. I now definitely have a number one favorite and a close second. This probably is after trying 6 or 7 instructors. All are good, some are great.
Girls at the front desk are amazing. The owner Doug is super helpful and friendly

Clean studio with pretty good instructors. Calm but energetic energy. They don't play music, but the classes don't feel boring. Not the most challenging Pilates I've ever done, but a nice chill and painless workout. Instructors don't come around and give hands on individual attention or adjustments much.

Out of 4 classes I took - 3 were below 0. Class 1. I was told to leave because receptionist could not find my name in the system... even thought I called in advance to book a class and fully paid for 5 classes.… The receptionist shouted in front of everyone: you have to leave, I won't let you take the class! I ended up talking to someone over the phone and they found my payment and let me in but I was 5 minutes late... No one apologized and class was not refunded. Class 2. I attended the class where the teacher was evaluated - the class was not organized and another teacher was present.

Wow! I 100% love this place. I found it through classpass and I'm sticking with it.
The environment is very intimate and instructors pay attention to students and help correct their postures and movements.
My body feels elongated after each class and my posture has naturally improved!!!!
Prior to this class, I had only done mat Pilates and I was admittedly intimidated by the reformer. But, my feelings were misplaced as students work at their own level and are carefully guided through the use of the machine.

A cute little studio located on Larchmont. I found this place through classpass and absolutely love it! The studio is very clean and well maintained. The instructors are all very friendly and attentive to each individuals needs. I have lower back problems and the instructors are always able to teach me modifications.
There is metered street parking along Larchmont. It is free after 6PM. There are also street parking along the interior streets as well.

Took a level two class here with Doug on a Sunday morning through classpass.
They play good music to pump you up. They played a lot of Sia and Beyoncé when I was there. They do traditional Pilates moves and it provides such a good workout! The space is clean and gorgeous and scented with scented oils and the bathroom is sparkling and has a legit looking shower. They sell toe socks which are required for their classes. Doug was great with gently fixing everyone's form.
By way of constructive criticism, I wish they were more open about how the clients could adjust the weights on their
