She has been practicing as a Hospitalist and a Primary Care Physician in the valley since her graduation from the Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Arizona in 2005. She provides Acute Care, Chronic Care, Post Acute Care and Preventive Care Services based on the Principles and Practice of Internal Medicine for Adults (above 17yrs of age).
Dr. "Sandy" Venugopal provides judicious referrals to Subspecialty Providers and Chronic Pain Management and for Preventive Health Procedures like Mammogram, DEXA Scan, Colonoscopy and Cancer Screening. She does not provide Obstetric or Interventional Gynecological Procedures like IUD placement or Non prescription contraceptives.

It's been a couple of years now that I have been visiting Dr. Sandhya and my experience has been indeed good. She gives time to understand the concerns one has and then suggests the line of treatment accordingly. She would even go at length to make things understand in layman terms & has even reached out to other doctors on my behalf if I have ever needed their help.
