A car wash cleans only a fraction of what detail job can do. Here's what we do at Tower Car Wash - The Best SF Auto Detailing and wash Services: After your car is washed, we remove any dirt still stuck to the surface of your car using a special bonding clay. The car is then polished to remove any light scratches and swirl marks.

I've asked several times at check in and at the pay counter for folks doing the hard work of drying cars to place a towel on the door sills before stepping on that area - the rubber trim from the factory does not hold up well to having shoes and weight on it.... I've had someone step there and leave a dent in the trim (along side the rubber trim/insultation) and over time I'm seeing the wear from folks stepping on it... I've used Tower Car wash for at least 15+ years and (generally) it's good but I'm not sure why people aren't trained to place a towel before

I've used both their "quick" general car washing option and their detailing services over the past year. I put "quick" in quotations because unless you show up right when they open, expect to wait at least 30-45min for your car to be washed - they are THAT busy all the time.
A good problem to have, and it does say a lot about their quality of work.
Their detailing service - where they hand-wash your car and really go to town on making sure your vehicle is truly spotless both inside and out - can get pricy, but it's totally worth it if your vehicle is really dirty

I normally not write a review.
But I couldn't let this go. I drove to this car wash today.
I should $44.95 but the guy charged me $79.95. ($30 over)
He asked me if I want to do wax or get money back, my bad I should the wax, 10 mins after my car finished but i didn't feel any different. Also in the car wasn't clean it was dirty as I never drive to car wash before. The lady who returned my key seems unhappy to work.
I very disappointed . $79.95????
Never come back again even though it's next to my house.

I enjoy bringing my car here. The wait times can be pretty long so that can be frustrating but overall they do a good job on my car. Given the popularity, i occasionally find missed spots but I'd say it's an acceptable job for how many cars they have to do. There's always several people cleaning the car at each time, including interior vacuuming, hand wash while going through the car wash, and then interior and exterior cleaning and drying.

This car wash is absolute garbage! They cracked the side panel on the outside of my car then the owner Steve finally call me back to tell me I can't prove it was them so file a claim on my insurance I said I have before and after pictures of my car sent them to him and he said Oh well file a claim I said I want to see his camera footage and he said I don't have to give this to you lil'black girl!!!!! I went off and I hope nobody supports this horrible business man! I'm sending my attorney as well!

Fair price for what you get, straightforward process. The five stars are because these workers hand wash your car, and that's hard, hard work.
The car wash business gets four stars. My car interior had tons of sand and was really dirty, I was impressed they got almost all dust and sand out, I wasn't looking for perfection so it was good enough for the price $35. My car still had tree leaves stuck on the windshield wipers, they should definitely work on getting those out before the car goes into washing mode. It would be great if during the vacuum process they lift your windshields

I’ve gone to Tower Car wash for over 25 years. Unfortunately, my car hood and side of car were scratched during the hand waxing process. The manager Israel asked me to return today so they could buff these out. However, when I returned they only worked on the hood scratches. The car is less than a year old and now it has noticeable scratches. DO NOT TAKE UOUR CAR HERE. if they damage your car they will not fix it.

Stay away - After their brown pump leaked gas on my finance and car - they were complete jerks and even refused to take off for the wasted gas and would not put an out of order sign.
On site manager is a total bonehead and despite gas on floor insisted pump isn't broken despite the fact you can't even see the screen.
Run away from this place !!!

The detail is expensive, but absolutely worth the cost. Check any other place around, and they tend to price based upon 'size and dirtiness'; that's a scam, and you shouldn't deal with that. You deserve better service, and your car will feel better than before thanks to Tower Car Wash's fine work. Seriously, go for the detail. There is a Groupon for the Express Detail, sometimes, and that's worth the discount; but I mean REALLY go for the detail, the Works, Deluxe, the whole shebang. Yes, you are worth it, and you deserve to drive your car at it's best. Your life will smell nicer. People will notice

I waited over 45 minutes for my car to be cleaned - over 30 minutes before it EVEN was in the wash machine! I watched at least 10 cars that were behind me be done in less than 15 minutes. Worse, the manager, Steve, refused to acknowledge the issue, refused to do anything about it and said it was not a problem. Horrible service. The people doing the real work are 5 star and Steve should be fired for his attitude.

I came in for a car wash recently and unfortunately was really unimpressed with the car detailing that took place. I came in initially due to the Groupon they have up, which I hadn’t yet bought. I asked about car detailing cost and the guy kind of sold it to me by saying you guys will honor the Groupon discount, which wasn’t accurate. I was okay with that, but when I looked at my car after the cleaning, I was disappointed by the lack of detail missed in the “detailing”. This is only my 2nd time at Tower - I usually went to Divisadero Car Wash or another favorite of mine in Fremont - but with Div Car Wash no longer an option I came here instead because I needed to get the T-Bird detailed. It was going into an indoor parking structure until times change and we need 2 cars again. Since it was parked on the street for several months it needed a good external detailing before I slipped the newly ordered car cover over it's smooth alabaster skin.
Tower did a good job
because even during Covid Times you still want your ride looking nice ...

Been coming here all 2020 getting regular car washes, the one time I ordered the $149 shampooing of seat package, they ripped my seat y'all.
Do you think they took responsibility?
NO THEY DID NOT!
The manager and the elderly employee who caused the damage argued and yelled at me and threatened to call the cops (which I encouraged them to do, but they did not).
The manager would not take responsibility and made up contradicting frivolous and unmerited excuses.
Needless to say I did not pay for this service. But now need to pay to get this seat fixed.

Been coming here exclusively for over 17years - driving up from the peninsula - and will NEVER come here again!
I'm particular about my vehicles. I keep my truck clean and know if & when any dents/chips occur. I steer clear of too tight parking spots specifically to avoid getting any damage.
Brought my truck in today like I do every two weeks or so. While it was getting vacuumed, a large door ding was put in the right quarter panel! I know it was at that area of the car wash because no other cars/trucks were in the detail area where my truck
