Have lived here for over 18 months now, and the fire alarm goes off in the middle of the night MONTHLY. It’s always a false alarm, and takes the fire department 10-15 mins to show up and kick it off. Not even in college did I have to deal with fire alarms going off this much.
Management needs to fix their system and/or start fining residents for pulling the alarm. Not only is it incredibly annoying to constantly
wake up to the screeching buzzing at 1am, it’s also extremely dangerous given how many people don’t take the alarms seriously anymore.
Building is great, office staff is friendly

I was relocating 4,321 miles (Kauai to Memphis) and the management team were very helpful, patient and accommodating. I am absolutely thrilled to be here.... I had done some research online regarding Fielder Square's location and the high ratings were definitely accurate. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to live in downtown Memphis.

Maggie and Kandis are the best! They made my move stress free. Maintenance was right on any issues I reported with my apartment. Only thing I would say is make sure you ask about your specific unit. They don't all look like the model, but I'm not disappointed view is incredible. I can live without granite countertops lol

I moved in early August of this year. The management team has been amazing since day 1. I've lived all over the country for my work and I can't tell you how refreshing it is to have kind, helpful and responsive management. The amenities are excellent. The walls must be thick or I have very quiet neighbors. Love the location just wish they would start playing baseball again!

We stayed in a 3 bedroom/2 bath apartment (408) during our vacation. It was a gorgeous apartment, and perfect for the COVID craziness happening now. Unfortunately we had a huge problem with the rental company (not the apartment complex), because they scheduled work on our rental while we were there. It wasn't Fielder Square's fault. You're probably wondering - why leave a review then? Because Candace, one of the people from the apartments, came by to personally apologize for the awful situation the rental company put us in. She was very friendly and helpful, she apologized and explained

I moved to Fielders Square 6 months ago, and it is the best place to live in downtown Memphis. It is not the newest place, but in my opinion it’s the best place. Everyday I walk out of my apartment and I… feel like I’m in a neighborhood in Chicago or New York.
The Apartments are not cookie cutter and have a feel of uniqueness. Location location is the word! The apartments are centered in the middle of downtown Memphis. I can walk to the Forum, Beale Street, The Orpheum and the River.
It is safe and the management team go above and beyond to make your experience amazing. To me

I've been visiting a family member that lives here for several years now. For the price you pay, you can find better. To be fair, I'll review the pros and cons.
Pros
Location - the location is great. It's walking distance to Beale St and almost anything downtown. It's connected to the Red Bird stadium so you can watch games from the observation deck.
Size - The size of the apartments is pretty good. Small kitchens but nice big closets.
Parking - You have access to a gated parking deck.
Amenities - I can only comment on the fact that they have a 2 bedroom suite that they rent

These are, by far, the best apartments I've seen! Spacious, clean, convenient location, awesome management, and not to mention the extras! The clubhouse is perfect to host any event! The newly redecorated pool and patio area are perfect for those summer months! And a theater room is a perfect addition! You won't be disappointed in the least to call here home!

I have lived at Fielder Square for a few years now and would tell anyone that it is one of the best places to live. The location of the apartments are convenient to everything downtown Memphis. The staff here are always so friendly and helpful and willing to help if anything is ever needed. I would consider all of them family. There is an amazing pool with outdoor grills and fire pits to aid in entertainment for my family and guests I may have come over. The staff always are planning events for the residents. The amenities within the complex are wonderful there is a clubhouse and a theater room

I've lived in an numerous amount of apartments in my lifetime and I must say these are in my top best places to reside! From the office staff knowing everyone & their names (that says a lot to me),the rapid response maintenance men, the in house activities they have from time to time is always a pleasantry! You're never left in the dark to occurrences happening within the apts. they truly care about us, the apts. and our safety.
Oh, let me not forget during the summer it. gets. even. better! There's the Observation Deck where you literally can watch every Red Birds home game

I am not a current resident of Fielder Square, but I am in the process of the online property searching prior to my move to Memphis in December. I have to say, of the dozens of places I have contacted, this place has been the most proactive in responding, Kandis has been exceptional in answering all of my questions and responding to my emails. When/if warranted, I will continue to update as I move forward.

If you want to experience the worst management leasing office known to man, you should definitely live here. The service at the management office is lazy, rude, and very bad service. My mail and packages have been stolen many times and they "couldn't do anything about it." There's been car breaks in their own garage and they "can't do anything about it." The manager does nothing to help any of your problems.
Overall, wasn't a good living experience mainly because of the management service. Very overpriced for absolutely no reason at all. Almost 2,000 for

While this apartment complex isn't the nicest one in the downtown area, it is definitely a good apartment complex for the price and proximity.
Price: Very reasonable for the downtown area. Allows people to live in 1 person bedrooms at a good price.
Staff: Always very friendly. They know you by name and are willing to answer questions whenever you have them.
Community: A good mix of students (Visible Music College, UT Med), young professionals, and families. There are monthly events hosted by the apartment complex such as happy hours, breakfast buffets, Redbirds nights.

Decent apartment complex; a few items such as a broken door not replaced as promised before move-in. Dirty air filter, leaking fridge, broken ice maker - all within first week of move-in. Very friendly leasing staff, very helpful. A few noise issues, especially with neighbors on their balconies at night (loud talking, yelling, parties). Clean building; love the clubhouse room downstairs and pool. Wish parking garage was actually attached by some walkway or covered walkway to the building; makes for long trips with groceries.

I am into my second lease at Fielder Square and it has been the best complex that I have lived in ever...across 3 different states.
The staff is friendly and actually cares about the residents. The maintenance team is responsive, quick and tidy.
This is easily the best value for Downtown Living! Great location, you can even watch Memphis Redbirds games for FREE while grilling out at the community patio area.
Highly Recommended!

This is a really nice apartment. The staff is friendly, and the apartments are clean. However I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you DO NOT live here. The parking garage is free to residents to use and looks fairly secure. But don't let the gated garage fool you. Anyone looking for a free place to park in downtown Memphis parks here, as they sneak into the gate that requires a signal from a key fob from a resident. In the last couple of weeks I have had two nonresidents come dangerously close to rear-ending me because they wanted into the garage. Not only that, but I have been here less than six

Honestly, I have loved living here. The staff really turned this place around in the last year. And they are great (hence the three stars, which would have been 4-5/5). I probably would have signed on for a third year once my lease is up, except they turned it into a dorm and contracted with the visible music college (which houses a hundred plus just out of high school hipsters). Since then I, and most rent paying tenants, have been sorely unhappy. Most have started looking for other housing that doesn't feel like they're living in a college dorm, or being accosted by "musicians

I've been a tenant here since 12/09 - 7/12. Clean apts, good maintenance staff, front desk can be short on people at times but they are very friendly and are helpful. I've lived in the main building (70) and buidling (40) and both locations were great. There really aren't any complaints i personally have for this place. Goodluck to future tenants. The reason I am leaving is because I am moving out of State for a career opportunity.
