This is not a in depth review of Holly View apartments as a whole, just wanted to leave some positive feedback to the maintenance department’s head Hugo who once assigned to a task puts in 100% of his effort to completing the job to the best of his abilities. Over time things will break or need to be fixed for various reasons and just wanted say thanks for the effort you’ve put in throughout my stay at Holly View.

The staff is nice and they were really good about providing residents with relief during the pandemic. I used one of the resources they provided and got 2 months worth of rent paid, so kudos to management for that. The surrounding area is dangerous but for the most part it was pretty peaceful once you get in the complex. As far as maintenance eh… the guys were nice but the repairs are mostly aesthetic. But I’d like to say Marilin and Selena specifically were very nice people to deal with and my move out process was pretty smooth. Thanks ladies!!

I’m not gonna lie when I first moved here I was very skeptical because if you know the area it isn’t the greatest part of Houston, but this apartment complex is like a glitch in the matrix because every thing around it is pretty rough but as soon as you come into the gate of the Holly View Apartments there’s residences walking their dogs (at all hours of the day), people taking a run, and when it’s night time there is no one being loud and obnoxious.
The staff is really understanding and is willing to work with you instead of against you!

This is not a good place I was living there one year my first night it was a million roaches , never has hot water they text you everyday about how there will be no hot water ! They painted over everything. A woman was killed in the back parking lot and she was left there unattended for hours. I sat in my car watching 3 guys break into people cars and run across the street. The area is very dangerous very very dangerous also somebody stole my dog I asked to review cameras and I wasn’t able to. They just want to move you in and take your money

I lived in this apartment complex for four years. That says a lot right there. It safe, well lite and maintained every week. My Dad even give it a go rating on his visit. I always talked with the front office, they had events with and for us. I never had a problem with maintenance; if I report something wrong it was fixed usually within 24 hour. Once the maintenance came changed the filter for the apartment and padded my dog on the head. I had just put in the request five min. before. It was a get home for me. it was just to far from my job. i miss it too

This is an amazing property! I recently moved back to the area from out of state, This property has really made a turn around in the last 12 years. The management they have in there right now is AMAZING! Big shout out to the manager, I believe her name was Elise. The only reason i didn't move to this property was ONLY because it was too far from my family.
if you are looking for an apartment in the area this is a great property with a great team! I got to speak with the whole office and everyone from the leasing agent to the managers was EXCEPTIONAL!

I have been living here for almost 9 months now and I have had a great experience. The staff is always kind and my needs are always met in a timely manner. Although the area surrounding the complex isn't the greatest in Houston, I honestly feel completely safe in the complex and it has always been quiet. I would definitely renew my lease if I decided to stay in the area, but unfortunately cannot since I plan to live in a different area. If you are looking for a quiet, safe and enjoyable complex to live in; Hollyview is your place!

I have no complaints about my stay here. I've called poor Selena at least a dozen times within a few months of my stay and got taken care of every time. Maintenance arrived usually the same day. Felt safe walking my dog at any time during the night and all the tenants/staff I've met have all been super friendly. I would have stayed longer but unfortunately had to move out for some personal reasons.

PLEASE DONT RENT FROM THIS PLACE...not less you want to be treated like dirt and taken advantage of and threatened with a verbal 48hr notice to vacate along with your 18 month old daughter and an 8th month pregnant wife durning Hurricane Harvey, or have your car towed for no apparent reason, or have ur car swiped and all of a sudden the security cameras are getting worked on, or water leaking all in ur bathroom from a broken AC unit, or gates being broken, or tenants literally getting into a bloody fight in broad daylight over who's sleeping with who, or not being able to get ahold of anyone

This review is 3 years after moving out of HollyView, but in light of recent interactions with some terrible management at my apartment in Austin, I thought it was important to take the time to credit and acknowledge the folks at HollyView for being good, honest people who are easy to deal with. I lived at HollyView when I was a teacher at a local elementary school, and the apartment I stayed at was a good value spot with very few issues. Also, when I needed to sublease my apartment over the summer, the management team was very cooperative on the issue and allowed me to do it after speaking with

I moved here a little over 6 months ago and I haven't had any problems, and I love to call this place my home. When I initially started my apartment search, I became overwhelmed with the high cost of living and apartments not being up to part. When I arrived at Holly View, I was immediately greeted by they leasing consultant, Selena. Selena was very helpful and polite, and worked with me on everything. She gave me a great tour around the complex, which I was surprised by how well kept the site was. It has great landscape features that always well kept, the swimming pool is cleaned every morning

It use to be good. Now you have multiple issues. Waiting weeks for your access code to work, waiting 2 weeks to have a mold issue resolved, getting your car towed as a resident, rude customer service from front desk. Have to contact management to get anything resolved. Individual patio curb appeal is terrible. Junk everywhere. Good price but not worth the bs.

Worst customer service, I was constantly being charged unknown fees. Rude office staff and I had felt unsafe there. The people who run this place are just looking for a way to get every penny out of you they can. I didn't even stay a whole year, I had to get away. I've lived in many apartment complexes and this one is a joke. Stay away. I was constantly arguing with the staff and they were extremely rude and not considerate. Not the way you treat someone who is trying to have a home.

Just moved out after almost 3.5 years of being at Hollyview Apartments. The apartments are nice and a great bargain! They have always been great and very few problems. One of the things I noticed was how little the power ever went out, and when it did, it was only for a few minutes.
I had noticed the positive change in the past year or so in the upkeep of the grounds and caliber of tenants.
I only moved out in order to move into a home.
Thanks again Hollyview Apartments for years of good memories.

I live her now and if you need an affordable place to stay until you save enough to move elsewhere this is the place to move. I moved in July 2012, my experience thus far has been nothing Nancy, prop mng, has told me it will be. Let me start by saying I pay my rent on time and all my utilities as well and have not had a problem with that. Since Day one I thought everything was ok, then when I take my shoes off I noticed that NAILS are sticking out of the carpet all though my house, I let maintenance know twice nothing has yet to be done. Now we have the Houston Police checking out the pool area. Funny how after complaining this Sat about over 50 kids and teens in the pool unsupervised ( adults were in the pavilion not in pool area) that a retaliation was directed at me.

I would recommend Hollyview Apartments to anyone looking for a high quality and affordable place to live in Houston. Hollyview is a gated community that is completely brand new including new kitchens, new bath rooms, new air conditioning/heating system, new dual pane doors and windows.
The price for me is very affordable much less than old junk downtown and the Heights. Service is very good with a lady in the office ...Nancy ...that really cares for the residents. They screen very carefully which is good if you are looking for good neighbors.
