I applied at Upper Kirby apartments recently, and the whole process was an absolute mess. They are unresponsive, unprofessional, and completely negligent. I couldn’t get in contact with someone on my scheduled move in day. They sent me someone else’s leasing contract…which had all the personal information! Social security number, address, etc. I reached out to them and expressed my concerns about my own info being leaked and they ignored me. The poor person who got their info leaked is so lucky I’m not a scammer! I’d avoid this place.

I am writing in regards to a matter that involved Assistant Community Manager, Marianne Cellini. Our correspondence began in November, at which time I completed an application. Along with the application, I also paid the applicable fees and deposits. I informed Marianne about our systems being down at work and that I needed more time to upload a few documents. I also relayed that Marianne could contact my direct supervisor in regards to sending said check stubs while systems were down. I received a response on 12/1 assuring me that all was well and that I could upload at my earliest convenience

Super happy with UK and the choice to live in this community. Amazing location and perfectly placed if you work in the medical center. Awesome restaurants in walking distance and seemingly safe neighborhood/community. On the 5th floor, noise is limited, nothing bothersome and seems like the neighbors are quite respectful (thus far). Great amenities also and the gym/pool rarely becomes crowded! Cons… only one really, the upkeep around UK. I’ve noticed the elevators and entrance to elevators can get pretty dirty which tracks dirt into the hallways. Pressure washing the garage/elevator could help

I lived at upper kirby for almost 3 years and just moved out recently. It's in a great location near pretty much everything you could ask for anx easy access to 59 ensures you can get anywhere in a reasonable amount of time. The staff is very accommodating... for example they've let me switch units well before my move out date when I've found a better rate and have always taken care of me. Special thanks to Marianne who has always addressed any concern I have had with expediency. Great place!

I visited this place awhile back. These are the apartments you live in when you can’t afford anything better in this area. They are ugly from the outside and outdated in the inside. Only good thing is the gym but then again every apartment has a gym. Not terrible if you are trying to save money. If you have more to spare there’s a lot better in this area. I wouldn’t stay here just to say I live in this area. Also they are a little dirty.

Been living at UK since I moved to Houston in 2016, and don't regret it one bit. The apartment complex and amenities are nice and kept up. The employees go above and beyond to make everyone feel at home.
Before she leaves, big shout out to Samantha for the consistent efforts in keeping everything in order on a daily basis! She's great with potential, future tenants, current tenants, and seeks to make everything run smoothly here at UK.

You will hear everything that your neighbor does above you. Every stomp, every step, every cupboard slammed shut, everything, at all times. It will keep you up at night, forcing you to lose sleep, and it will be inescapable.

She got me an awesome 1 bedroom with a super sized patio & also helped my friend get a sweet apartment on the 5th floor with a pool view!! The Management (Ed & Marianne) as well as the maintenance and office staff make living here such a blessing! They are hands down the most genuinely kind and helpful staff that go above and beyond every day to make living here amazing. When the winter storm came last week, so many residents were blown away by how the staff was here some nights until 10pm walking the floors to make sure we had power and checking on us, in constant communication providing any help they could, and working overtime to ensure our community was back up and running as fast as possible. This apartment complex is well-managed and the staff is dedicated to their residents. On occasion, I have been out of town for business or pleasure and I was able to count on the staff to manage my deliveries and take care of my apartment during natural disasters. For example, a hurricane was passing through and I was unable to move my patio furniture inside because I was out of town. All I had to do was call the front office and the staff moved all my furniture in for me. I have been living here for over a year now and am very happy. The apartments are high quality and the staff are always very friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is also very conveniently located. The gym is not extensive, but it has always had everything I need. The pool and grille area are very nice to relax, and I haven't run into any issues with cleanliness. Overall, I'm very happy living here, with no complaints, and would recommend to anyone looking for a new apartment in the Houston area.

My significant other and I have been living in this apartment complex for about 7 months now and we've really enjoyed it.
The leasing office has always been very quick to respond to our questions and was so helpful in showing us available units when we first considered moving here (shout-out to Samantha!). Maintenance is pretty on top of stuff, the amenities are great, and it's so incredibly convenient location-wise.

I love this apartment complex! The leasing agents and everyone that works in the office are so cool, kind, and helpful! They have a lot of community events. I've had a few maintenance issues and I expected them to be solved in a few days, but someone was at my door within 10 minutes to fix all the issues! Even when our air conditioning went out after hours, someone was at our apartment to fix it in less than seven minutes. I would definitely recommend this apartment complex to anyone! Great location, friendly staff, and very clean and spacious apartments.

Upper Kirby is a beautiful, premiere apartment complex- with friendly, customer service -oriented staff and well-kept community areas (fitness center, business center, etc.) to match. The garage and key access amenities add an accommodating touch to the well- managed community!

For an apartment complex, this place is pretty awesome. Great location, great staff (maintenance and front office), the pricing is fair (even at renewal), and the grounds are well kept. The only downside are the elevators which tend to break from time to time. It's kind of like playing musical chars. That being said, I still love this place.

I currently live here. I think that for everything that we receive in our packaging as a resident the price isfair. I love the leasing agents.
Management is cool. Parking is decent, but if you have friends that like to come over they will find it really hard to park because visitor parking is very limited.
The gym is over rated. No benches. I had dreams ,then I walked into that gym and couldn't reach them.
But location is my tipping point. It's in the heart of a lot.
