Anyone who is moving knows ,it’s a process looking for a place to live. However with good people such as Melissa Ekker property manager of Parkwood Manor.Remained consistent with helping me through the application process. Very professional and knowledgeable of her job. That alone makes moving a lot easier and less stress. This is truly the perfect community to call home.

I absolutely love my apartment! The floodplain is great, the way the sun comes in is amazing! The bad part is maintenance! There's a great 24hr hotline but there's a clear communication barrier between the service, us tenants, the office, and maintenance. Something as simple as changing the battery in the smoke detector took a whole week until I finally took them all down and changed the batteries myself. THEN the office called smh!! I would've done it initially but if anything goes wrong, the office will charge the tenants. If the call is for the smoke alarm, why not come prepared with batteries

I would recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a nice place to live. The maintenance staff are great and are very responsive also the office manager (Melissa's) is very attentive to the needs
of the tenants. Parking is always available and your car and belongings are safe. Apts are nice and spacious and pet friendly and is a good value with all utilities added except electricity. I spoke to a few potential neighbors before moving in and I received positive feedback and support from them also. I would definitely recommend Parkwood Manor apartments!

I have been living here for almost 3 years going on 4 with no problems in this area.I like how everyone over here looks out for each other, I don't have to worry about my packages getting stolen or worried about am i going to live to see the next day. The landlord Ms.Melissa is always involved with our community ,if she even sees someone walking around the complex looking depressed ,she will take the time to stop what she is doing and make sure they are okay. Since i been living in Virginia she is one of the best landlords i have ever had.I recommend this place if your looking for somewhere to

Parkwood manor is the place to go if you are looking to move I was so stressed out with this moving thing but as soon as I walked in parkwood manor Melissa welcome me with open arms and the application process was so easy and she was so Quick with everything if you looking to move please stop by here first ..... This was before moving in now after living At Parkwood Manor is definitely not the place to be to much goes on and I personally feels like the manager and maintenance don’t care at all

This place has been great. The apartments look very good for their age. The maintenance staff is real prompt and friendly. The fact that trash, sewage, water and gas are included in the rent is excellent. Melissa, the woman at the leasing office, is incredibly funny and friendly. She made the application and move in process so smooth and painless.

I was so excited to move in here after dealing with Melissa, she was wonderful and answered all my questions. She was so patient with me and truly took the time to listen to my concerns and help me through the whole process. She really made me feel welcome, like a part of the community already. I didn't income qualify but I would recommend this place to whoever is looking. Thank you again Melissa!

Friendly staff in the rental office that keep fair hours and promptly return calls. Capable maintenance staff that fixes problems promptly. Great value for a neighborhood near Naval Station Norfolk and Naval Support Activity bases. Some of the neighbors are a little loud at night but only on weekends, everyone here works for the most part. Plenty of parking available. Water/Sewer/Trash included in the rent, which is awesome. The Apartments are very old, but well built and have the good walls you can actually mount stuff on. Water pressure in the showers is better than most and the appliances provided
