During this temporary COVD-19 period, I am available for therapy sessions by phone and videotherapy. My plan is to be back in my office as soon as is recommended and current restrictions are lifted. My office is large with appropriate social distancing space, calm and peaceful. My Approach: I place great value on compassion, empathy and flexibility.
I believe in an integrative theoretical approach, using techniques that result in understanding, insight, and relief for clients. I help clients with a variety of concerns, including issues related to anxiety, depression, couples counseling, divorce, substance abuse, career change, and a variety of other concerns.

Services
A caring and compassionate therapist is a crucial part of any therapy. I use empathy, humor, and flexibility to help my clients "tell their unique story". My educational and professional background has afforded me the experience of working with a vast array of clients, and has allowed me to recognize the importance of flexibility, adaptability, and life experience.
How can therapy help me? A number of benefits are available from participating in therapy. Therapists can provide support, problem-solving skills, and enhanced coping strategies for issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship troubles, unresolved childhood issues, grief, stress management, body image issues and creative blocks.
Claire Babbitt, LMFT offers video online teletherapy using HIPAA compliant software. This provides therapist and client a way to conduct confidential online counseling sessions. Teletherapy: During the current virus crisis teletherapy is a useful and productive method of receiving counseling. Phone Claire at 858-449-7547 or contact by email ([email protected]) to get more information about remote therapy or to set up an apppointment.
I use various theoretical approaches to help patients experience a reduction of symptoms and resolution of issues which concern them. Although my approach for each patient depends on the specifics of that patient's need, my therapeutic approach is broadly psychodynamic. This psychodynamic approach involves exploring ways in which early experiences may influence and perhaps distort current thoughts, behavior and relationships.

I feel bad for her. She’s very old and her model of treatment is very outdated. I think she may have been returning from retirement to make extra money? One of the few therapists that actually has open availability right now, which is a bad sign lol! She basically told me she won’t treat anyone who drinks to excess sometimes. People deserve help, no matter what their problems are. It’s sad that older people in this field don’t understand substance issues better. I wish her the best in her retirement! And for the sake of all young people like myself trying to get help, I hope it comes sooner

2 stars for responding. Disclaimer! I have not had a counseling session with this therapist. My review is based solely on my experience in trying to set one up.
Overall very dissatisfied with my interactions here. HIGHLY advertises same-day appointments and speedy communication however it has taken the better part of a week to even get to the point where we are scheduling an appointment with communications being short and uninformative. I provided my insurance information when asked (for invoicing purposes) and also inquired about a consultation call. Only then to be told, that apparently there
