Angie, the owner, is a total sweetheart. Called her around 6PM and said I would be coming by after my workout to fill up my camper van at her water station. Ended up getting stuck out til 10PM. Still picked up the phone when I got there and still allowed me to fill up my van for free. Not many people provide that level of customer service. Looking forward to meeting her next time through Phoenix and tipping her the money I owe her! Thank you Angie!!!

Wanted to take a moment to review this park after the terrible experience I had at Green Acres. I'd been on the waiting list for a monthly spot here for awhile and today I hit the campground lottery.
The on site property manager Angy is absolutely wonderful and truly went above and beyond to help me get here and get my rig set up today. Everyone here has been so nice and accommodating. It's quiet besides the highway traffic and well lit in most common areas but not too bright.
I have missed trees and real green grass! Orange, grapefruit, lemon and shade trees in the valley instead of rock and

Arrived same day as reservation. No one at office. Ended up just picking an open spot. No one at office during business hours or evening. Power was weak at pole. Bathrooms are unisex and key coded. One of 2 was not functional. Park small and not in a high quality neighborhood. Gunshots and police helicopters on our one night say. No acceptable overflow area. Felt really bad for the couple who arrived aver us as they just had to setup on the road in front of the bathhouse. Bathhouse had poor ventilation and was in need of cleaning.

From the moment i moved into the covered wagon i felt at home. The people here are all kind and helpful twords each other. The manager here is one of the most kind, friendly, caring, helpful people i have ever met. She will go out of her way to help people and works her hardest to make sure everyone is happy. She os a true angel and i thank the lord for leading me and my family to her. She helped me by allowing us to stay here during a very rough time in our lives even though her rv park is more geared twords those who come from out of state.

It was hard to find a place for last minute booking that was safe and clean but I’m very lucky to have found Covered Wagon RV park in Arizona.
Place felt safe and the facilities were clean and well maintained. It helps to have a office on site to assist guest. Angy was very friendly, courteous and accommodating.
Will definitely book again!!!

First few days we were concerned due to the area and the interesting people in the area. But after a few days we began to feel comfortable. Covered Wagon RV Park is very well kept establishment. The owner (Angie) is and was awesome person to interact with. She always went above and beyond.
Inclusive, someone hit my truck and we were able to pinpoint who did it because there are cameras everywhere. The place is well kept and I recommend this place to anyone. At night it is quiet and we slept well in our camper. I will for sure be coming back to stay here and there are shaded spots which was a

My wife and were at Covered Wagon for about 10 months while I finished my clinicals before continuing on to travel therapy. This spot is one of the few that is not 55+. Angy is awesome and is super laid back and takes good care of the pool, which is small, but pretty clean and refreshing. The fruit trees by the office are also a nice addition. The only thing keeping the park from a 5/5 is the immediate homeless population and the fact that my wife’s bike was stolen from our bike rack. It took a long time for it to happen, but still happened. If the park was gated I would most likely be giving

We booked a week at the covered wagon and had to vacate after one night. I am not one to complain but this place was not as described. Park filled with permanent residents in sketchy section of the city where loud highway traffic and the very close proximity to other RV's made it impossible to stay. Our spot was a dirt driveway with a shared table with pool guests just outside our door. When we tried to empty the black water the sewage was full to the top. This park is unsafe, unkept, and when we requested a refund for the unused nights they refused only to offer future credit even though

The two stars are just for Angy, the manager. she was helpful and friendly. The park is pretty sketch. Lots of full-time people who had their crap all over the place. RV's parked along the drive maybe in storage or people in them, not sure. Our site was good and full working hookups. Could walk over highway pedestrian bridge to get to Pet Smart dog park on other side, but you don't want to do that at night. It gets pretty iffy outside the park at night. Many homeless people wandering and sleeping about. Houses have bars on the windows. Probably won't stay here again, but

We would give lower rating but can't. First the park is in a risky neighborhood. We did not know it but we woke up in the moring to police and police helicopter going around and around over the rv park. The police kept saying "Do not try to run, you are surrounded, put your hands up." Now this was at 6 am in the morning on a Sunday! Another thing is that there is a population of people that live in their campers there and do not follow the rules for ALL animals to be on a leash. I have two small dachshunds and a cat was under our camper that we did not know about. It was another

A grassy oasis in the desert! This is a wonderful park with friendly, accommodating staff and a cool pool. They even have a vending machine with cold candy bars! Every site has a bit of grass, and most have at least a little shade.
It is in a latino neighborhood, so racist people might feel uncomfortable.

Had to go to Phoenix for doctor appointments and got to Phoenix kind of late and saw this RV park was close by on my smartphone. The manager, Angie, was able to give me an overflow site and even helped me back up into it with my travel trailer. They were very busy but she was able to let me stay there for two weeks while I took care of my medical care. The park is rather small but very cozy and comfortable. There are lots of trees and lawn. There are a number of long terms people staying there apparently and I had the chance to visit with a number of them. There were very friendly and funny

We have been staying for multiple nights in the springtime for three years now.
The Covered Wagon looks better than it ever has.
It is retro.
It is small.
It is what we like.
There are several long term occupants. Yea! Boo!
Yea, they know the area and are helpful. They are not the nosey Good Sam types who give unsolicited advice.
Boo! It means there is not always a selection of spots to choose from.
This place is very well located for our needs in Phoenix.
The neighborhood is safer today than it was three years ago. Be street wise. Carry a large dog on the end of a leash.

The parking spaces are flat requiring no leveling Mature shade trees and lots of grassy areas Most of the sites are occupied by permanent residents. A good spot for the overnighter needing a convenient spot
If you want to use the restrooms and showers, although you probably wouldn't want to, there is a $3 per person per day additional charge.
The neighborhood is dicey at best. Not a place for an evening stroll.
