It was nothing but issues since day one of moving into The Mercer. They gave me an access card that didn't work. Didn't have my car information on file nor did they ask about it to confirm. Had to move all of our furnitures through a sketchy outdoor area with three metal pipes sticking out and dirty wet concrete floor because our unit was apparently too far from their actual loading dock. Dried up bugs were found throughout the unit. Dryer machine had a severely dirty vent, it took me the whole night cleaning it out. The base of our kitchen faucet would constantly turn black. We also

Finally moved out after three years. The downward spiral of this place just got more and more out of hand. Writing a review just to try to help you out in the future...steer clear. It really isn't what the tour or website promises. There are serious crimes, safety and security issues that reoccur...had my bike stolen from a third story interior balcony and my car broken into and ignition destroyed from the "secure" parking garage. After a year of living at the Mercer, I will definitely miss it! Shout out to the current staff for always taking care of any issues I had with my apartment, and for creating such a welcoming environment! Nicole has changed this apartment around for the better. The resident events were always fun, not to mention the great amenities. :) Definitely recommend this complex to everyone!

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time so far at the Mercer! The staff is extremely efficient in fixing any needs in a timely manner. Shout out to Nicole, Lilia, and Ezekiel! They made my move-in seam-less and the least stressful as possible.

I've been familiar with this property for awhile being in the property management industry. The Mercer is honestly a great place to call home. Yes the property is expensive but worth the price if you consider the amenities and security of the property. Also consider that you get what you pay for. It smells good and the walls aren't that thin. The residents here are very nice and the leasing office staff seems to be familiar with every resident by memory.

I wasn't sure if to write this review or not, but I wanted people to know what the office staff and management is really like. I have mostly stayed in quarantine since moving in last year. I have emailed any issues or work orders I have through email or on the app and always get great service and an update back . I will say that The Mercer has gone above and beyond to keep the residents happy by keeping most, if not all amenities opened and has hosted some of the best events for residents that I have ever seen during these times. The Mercer community provides such an amazing experience and lifestyle. It's extremely inclusive and does a lot of wonderful events to bring everyone together and make us feel appreciated as tenants. So far, my experience with The Mercer has been top notch. Keiyana in particular has been an excellent leasing consultant throughout my move process. She worked to get me in for a tour on a relatively last-minute basis, showed me several floor plans and units, and even walked me to the unit I was most interested in so I would know the view and location prior to applying. She has been friendly, responsive, and genuine.

I went on a tour here last Saturday (7/18) with Alexis (I hope that was her name!). The tour was wonderful. I was very impressed with Mercer and would love to apply once they have the unit we are interested in available. The community seemed very friendly. I loved walking around and seeing the tenants in the pool and enjoying the available amenities. It seems like a friendly and social community. Hopefully we can become tenants soon!

Keiyana was a pleasure to work with! This was my first home outside of where I grew up and she streamlined the process and took the stress out of moving! I would highly recommend living here at the Mercer and ask for Keiyana! She's amazing!
In regards to the other reviews about safety and security, it is simply untrue. They have nighttime security to protect us and the grounds until the morning. I'm grateful I found this location.

My husband and I have lived at the Mercer for 3 years now..... the promises and quality of living have depreciated exponentially each year. Our apartment and view are lovely, wonderful people(Anthony😊 especially) work there. However, the luxury amenities have disappeared and it has become a college dormitory. The owner Wayne is upfront rude to tenants, and has decided to rent units at a discounted price to college students. Update: It's been over 1 month since I wrote my original post. Management's claim that "we are taking care of the issue" have been empty words. The police have been called as well as the almost-daily calls to courtesy patrol. Nothing has changed in terms of the excess noise.
Also, please take what others say about how nice the tours are with a grain of salt. Giving this community 5-stars because the tour was good is like giving the new iPhone 5 stars because the Best Buy employee answered a question you had about it. There is a difference

When I first signed my lease, the high price point was softened by the amenities offered and the assurance that this was an extremely secure property to live in.
Slowly but surely most of the promised amenities have disappeared. They sold me on daily continental breakfast, mimosa Sunday's, fresh cucumber water, Starbucks coffee, clean towels for the pool and gym.....all of these things are no longer available with no promise of returning. I recently moved into the The Mercer and absolutely love it here so far. I had toured many complexes before making a decision but as soon as I toured the units here with Alexis I knew it was where I wanted to call home. This is my first apartment so I was nervous to make a decision but she was so encouraging and sweet. She took the time to show me all of the one bedroom and two bedroom units available on multiple occasions. I would not recommend to anyone , to move into The Mercer. During this hard time , the owner has chosen to take away all of our amenities but has also chosen not to reduce our rent. In fact , he has decided to raise our rent and blame it on the Cable company. We have been misled since day one from having to pay for a garage gate that never worked to having our bikes stolen in a gated area that was also locked. If you enjoy your sleep and safety, this is not the place. I called security over 5 times to address the sound situation and it never stopped. They instead wanted to move me and not my neighbor. And if I wanted to leave the community, it would be at my expense. Do I just need to call Metro? This is just absolutely insane! I can't wait to move out! It's not worth the money you pay. Please hear me out as I'm speaking from someone trying to sleep and it is now almost mid night.

My photos tell the story. I've asked Managent over and over to stop the smoking but it just doesn't happen. People clean up after your dogs too. Pool is nice rent, rent is way over the market and I'm happy to pay it if they enforce rules. East 4th floor rooms have horrible vibrations because all the AC units are on top of the rooms. And these are the most expensive rooms with the big patios. I love my patio and my view. It's sad I have to write this because I wish I could be positive about this property. Upon entering the beautiful lobby area, Steven welcomed us to the property. After exchanging some info, he took us on a tour. Steven was very professional, polite, and was able to answer every single question we had. He is one of the best, if not the best leasing agent that I've had the pleasure of meeting. He even told us about the owner of the complex and how he also owns Storybook Homes. (Very nice houses btw) More on that below. The Mercer is very lucky to have him on their team.
