Lucy Lomax and Kelly Fisher will teach you how to share the gift of yoga while deepening your commitment to this path. Upon satisfactory completion you will be eligible to register with the Yoga Alliance at the 200 level. You will enrich your practice and your life - even if you have no intention to teach.
Ayurveda Immersion 2022 is a 6-weekend, 50-hour training program (50 CEUs), led by Kelly Fisher and Rimmi Singh. This program is for anyone interested in learning more about the comprehensive practice of Ayurveda. Yoga students and teachers will benefit from the in-depth study of the doshas, prakriti, vikriti, dhatus, the six tastes, daily habits and more.

Office Hours: Summer office hours are 9am - 1pm every day of the week, as as by appointment. All of our current classes and workshops in Yoga, Pilates, Meditation and Qigong are now virtual classes, live-streamed on Zoom. Summer session we are returning to in-studio classes as well as live-stream. In addition to our classes for chair yoga, yoga for amputees, and other programs, our instructors have experience helping students of all abilities.

The Yoga Center of Columbia has always been an incredible place of support, friendship and healing for so many. During the pandemic Kathy Donnelly and her incredible team of teachers worked tirelessly to transition to online classes. Despite the challenging times they've been able to continue offering high-quality, nurturing, educational, and fun classes for all ages from the comfort of home.

I've been taking yoga at the Yoga Center of Columbia for 3 years and have been completely satisfied with my experience. The classes I have taken with Kathy Donnelly have been fantastic and any time she's had a substitute teach for her, they have been great too. During COVID, when everything closed, Kathy was able to quickly pivot and offer classes remotely via Zoom. Although not ideal, the classes have continued to be structured and engaging. If you miss one of your scheduled classes, it's quite easy to schedule a make up in another class. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend

Thank you for "spoiling me". I detested yoga until a friend introduced me to Yoga Center of Columbia 5 years ago. I have tried other centers during business travel and was disappointed each time -- none have come close to the quality of YCC programs and instructors. I appreciate how quickly you pivoted to virtual classes during the pandemic, allowing us to continue our practice with our friends. For those out there who are reluctant to try yoga (I often hear "I am too embarrassed"), this is a good time to try it from home via the virtual Zoom classes! Each class offers a much needed 90 minutes

The Yoga Center is a wonderful welcoming place. They have risen to the top in my book by going online during the Pandemic and offering classes. I started in yoga at the studio and have now also taken up Pilates which is great exercise and keeping me sane and safe! I highly recommend the Center. The teachers are doing a great job with the Zoom classes.

I had a fantastic experience at The Yoga Center of Columbia during its quarterly "free class week." After a bad experience at my workplace (it turned into a kind of "competitive yoga," with college athlete interns struggling to keep up), I've been reluctant to try again to see just how limited I am. The three classes I took--Yoga for Healthy Bones and Joints, Intro to Qigong, Gentle Yoga--proved to me that yoga can be for everyone.
I was recently diagnosed with the beginnings of arthritis in my hands. There have been times I'm quite limited in ability to do things with my hands, and it was frustrating

The yoga center has a wide range of classes and offerings and even does free classes throughout the year so you can try before you buy. The teachers are skilled and excellent. Most importantly to me if the center is a member of the community. They frequently do fundraisers to support the food bank and other local organizations. They are a special group and I love going here.

The most flexible and accommodating yoga place ever! Personable instructors and a wide variety of classes ( from pregnant yoga to yoga for men to meditation and mindful eating, this place has it all. On top of all that, at the beginning of each quarter, the first week of classes are free so you can try them all out and see what you like.

With such a wide variety of classes to choose from, there's a level and style for everyone. Seasonal Free Weeks offer the chance to sample them all. The fabulous instructors are knowledgeable and skilled, each with their own personal style. Scheduling is easy online or by phone, or just drop in. If you miss a class, you can make it up with any other class on the schedule. The director and staff are committed to excellence and well-being. The Yoga Center of Columbia keeps getting better all the time--and you will, too!
