We fully understand that you maintain a busy schedule. To help accommodate you we are open 7 Days a week, and until 7:00 pm on Thursday evenings. Drop-offs can be arranged. Call us for an appointment time that is convenient for you. Preventative care is an important part of your pet's life. Dr. Mary Applegate got her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois in 1990, after receiving a Bachelor's degree in biology on the same campus. She has practiced at Park Centre Animal Hospital since 1994, and feels a close connection with her many long term clients and patients.
Lupe graduated from Western Career College in 1996 and obtained her Registered Veterinary Technician license in 1997. She is an animal nurse and helps us take care of our patients by taking x-rays, drawing blood samples, etc. She has a special talent to make animals feel comfortable and became a Fear Free Certified Professional in 2018.
Lisa has been a receptionist with Park Centre since 2003, and is now our Front Office Manager. She and her cat Carter enjoy gardening, and we can count on Lisa to bring fresh veggies into the office to share with the staff. Valerie joined Park Centre as a receptionist in July of 2014. Prior to that, she worked for many years as both a receptionist and Veterinary Assistant at other Veterinary Hospitals.

I've been bringing my dogs to Park Centre for over 5 years now. They were extremely kind and gentle when we had to let go of our 19 YO terrier. They are patient with my 3 goofy pitbulls. Pet care is not cheap but their prices are fair. They always give an estimate of things are going to cost BEFORE they start anything. And most importantly the fur-suits don't mind going to the vet.

Park Centre Animal Hospital is amazing. We went in with a list of ailments, as we had recently adopted, and they walked us through all of them giving us piece of mind that our pet is doing great and these are typical dog breed behaviors. They are very thorough, patient, and caring. Highly recommend them!

PCAH Has been my vet for many years. They helped me with my first dog & cat, from homecoming to final goodbyes.
The staff is always caring and careful. They are all experienced and well trained and always able & willing to answer questions and help with problems. They are the BEST.
When my new dog had a stomach problem that needed a specialist, they quickly sent me to a nearby emergency vet with highly specialized training and equipment that was just what we needed and the procedure went very well. I trust them and enjoy working with them too.

Even being a curbside appointment, the service was excellent. Everyone was very attentive, answered all my questions, followed all my requests. I was really happy with it. It was also very punctual and took about as long as I thought it would.
