HomeSpec is an OUTSTANDING firm! They were quick to respond to set up inspection appointments (even once when I texted them at 10 pm!), and arrived at the appointed time. We used them for two inspections back to back, and the first inspection helped us decide to discontinue the escrow because of what their report showed. Both reports they prepared were quickly delivered, thorough, liberal with photos to illustrate comments and so professionally done. I highly recommend them for any home inspection needs!

Johnathan performed my inspection on a newly purchased home in Newport TN. The owner was doing major renovations and Johnathan found issues that the owner may not have known about. He agreed to do the repairs that Johnathan noted and my realtor is going to have him do the follow-up. Would highly recommend Johnathan and his company!

Our realtor recommended this company. They were friendly and extremely thorough. They explained everything in great detail as they went along. They pointed out small issues that we overlooked and would have been costly. The electrical issues could have been dangerous. We wound up not going with the house as it would have been like that old movie where a couple buys a house and it turns out to be a Money Pit! This company will be inspecting our next prospect.

I used Home Spec to look at three houses before finally making a purchase. They were attentive and paid attention to details. I particularly liked their awareness of potential moisture/mold issues. I bought my house from out-of-state so didn't see it before purchase. It was a great comfort to know that they 'had my back' and Jonathan took the time to talk with me by phone to answer all my questions. I highly recommend them!

Johnathan & another fella did the inspection on my home this AM & it was such a pleasure to be around them. He basically took my on a tour and showed me numerous things like where my septic is, water shut off, etc.. just very informative.They were so friendly but also very straight forward. Instead of me having to ask a million questions, he informed me before I could even ask. I highly recommend this company to everyone!!
