Stewart Home Inspection is an established, multi-inspector firm serving the greater Knoxville market. You can rely on each member of our team to be professional, thorough, flexible and responsive. Our inspectors have 75 years of experience between them and have conducted nearly 6,500 inspections. All of our inspectors are licensed by the State of Tennessee.
Stewart Home Inspection's primary goal is to educate you on the condition of the property in question. We want to provide you with comprehensive and reliable information so that you can make the most informed decision possible. Our licensed home inspectors evaluate all interior and exterior components and systems including those outlined in the Tennessee Standards of Practice 0780-5-12-10.

In most cases, you'll want to contact a home inspector immediately after having signed a contract to purchase a property. The average inspection should take no less than 2-3 hours depending on the condition and size of the property.

These guys are not the cheapest, but the quality and professionalism is unmatched. I was blown away with the attention to detail and thoroughness of the report. The day after the inspection, the inspector called me and spent well over an hour pouring through all the data - explaining every one of his findings and taking time to answer my questions and discussing the condition of things. The system of home-buying has created a very efficient, and almost conveyor-belt process of filing us all through the ease and convenience of the money-giving process. I admit when I saw this quote of almost $500, one must admire these "professional processes" often required in buying a home. I am absolutely blown away by the level of service provided! My husband and I just completed our second home inspection through Stewart Home Inspections (both performed over the past 10 days). Our first investment property was a straight forward inspection, which ultimately saved us $5,200 off the home’s asking price due to plumbing issues.
