Each patient that arrives at out office have their own set of unique problems and goals. I've been going to CournotLeeDDS for years and they are amazing. I come from a looooong history of bad dentists and I felt like I found the holy grail when I started going here. They're not only experts in their field, they are patient, thoughtful and can think outside of the box to diagnose and address issues. Everything from dental hygiene cleanings to repair work, they are top notch. HIGHLY recommend them!

I highly recommend this dental practice. The quality of the work is excellent. Everyone who works in this office is focused on the patient they are with and take the time to listen and to answer all questions thoroughly with the needed information. They are constantly keeping up to date with procedures and equipment. My favorite dental practice of all time! Dr. Lee and her staff have been immensely kind, gentle, and supportive when it came to my TMJ and history of bad dental work. Everyone is incredibly mindful of their patients and work together to get your teeth back on track.
The only caveat is they don't take insurance, but they will work with you and your insurance company. Otherwise, I will always recommend this practice.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Lee since 2012. She is a wonderful dentist. Her work really holds up overtime. She is also a lovely person. She’s caring and empathetic and really wants to know what’s going on with your teeth and how she can help. Dental work can be expensive but the team at Dr. Lee’s office will work with you to come up with a payment plan. The assistants are also great and it’s a very calm welcoming atmosphere to walk into. I met Jenny Lee in a training about working with trauma. As a mental health practitioner, I was really intrigued by meeting a dentist who was focused on practicing dentistry with the skills to help her clients with sensitivity towards trauma. When I needed a new dentist, I sought her out. She is thorough, compassionate and highly skilled. I would recommend her to my friends unreservedly, and especially to any of my patients who have a history of dental trauma and need a sensitive dentist.

I’ve been coming to this practice for the past 25+ years. They are beyond phenomenal. Smart, attentive, thorough, warm, etc. Basically, everything you’d want your dental practice to be. Both dentists are amazing (so unlike my experience with every dentist I had before them) but so is the rest of the staff. My first visit to Dr. Cournot was approximately 4 months ago. Since then I've had two crowns replaced, and two visits to their dental hygienist.

Dr Cournot and her team are caring and professional in the extreme. I have had 4 dentists in NYC and she is by far the best. Setting up the appointment was easy and thorough. The staff are interested, showed genuine concern and were kind. Dr Cournot is obviously knowledgeable but also takes the time to make sure you understand what is happening with each step. I visited with very painful and distracting pain from TMJ, we attended to the immediate concerns to get me comfortable. My coworker recommended Dr Lee and since the office was conveniently located near my office, I gave it a shot. I have been a patient for over 4 years now. Dr Lee not only knows everything about my dental health but also about me on a personal level - she takes the time to truly care about every patient. She constantly goes to conferences to stay up to date. The technology and organization of the office is impressive.

Dr Cournot has been my dentist for well over 10 years. Dental work for many of us is tense and can be difficult. I have never had any healthcare provider as gentle, careful, skilled and understanding as Dr. Cournot. I have never felt pain which is amazing for any dental procedure! Dr. Jenny Lee is far and away the best dentist I've ever been to...and I've seen many in her trade. Not only did she identify and perfectly (and painlessly) fix multiple cavities that were slightly hidden under my old fillings (and that my other dentists had no idea even existed), but she always made me feel comfortable and welcome in her amazingly warm and fun office. I can't say enough good things about this office. Dr. Lee is not only an incredibly talented dentist, but such a caring person. I have struggled with serious TMJ for years, and she was the first dentist I encountered who empathized with my condition and made an effort to help in any way possible. Dr. Lee is the best! I was looking for a new dentist because the last one was telling my I had 13 cavities and needed to get them all fixed immediately and pay cash for it. Fortunately I was referred to Dr. Lee, and she is the best and the most ethical out there. I would recommend her for anyone. Everyone in her office really loves what they do. And I'm currently getting some dental work with her periodontist, Dr. Pastaglia, who is also exceptional in every way. Great office! You can't do any better than this place!

Dr Lee is amazing! I did not feel not scared of the dentist anymore. She's so welcoming and what I loved was how she explained what she was doing to my teeth (in terms of the process). So my story goes where my gums were just horrible and I neglected them for just too much. The day I decided to go to the dentist was when I was talking to my coworker and he said Monica you're teeth are bleeding. How embarassing. It's just poor neglect to your body. Overall I felt like ahh I have to hide my mouth when talking to people. It just was awful.

This place is great. Everyone is super nice and they really care about your teeth. But I can't give it 5 stars because they don't do insurance at all, thus restricting their practice to a relatively affluent crowd. Low-income or less privileged folks, you're out of luck, the hassle of paperwork is just too much work for them.
There is so much substandard dental care out there which makes this even more frustrating, and it would be nice if skilled practitioners of any medical/dental field thought about who they are trying to serve.

It's no surprise Dr. Lee is selected as one of 'America's Best Young Dentists.' Her professionalism, friendliness and approach to dental health is unlike anything I have seen before. Dr. Lee really does an amazing job explaining what work needs to be done, what are the root causes of the problems you have and lays out all the treatment options. Dr. Lee's approach is transformative - it redefines what a trip to the dentist should be (reason + experience). Dr. Lee didn't just leave this positive impression on me. I went to Dr. Lee yesterday mainly for my TMJ issue after reading a review from Yelp. I've been to a few dentist/orthodontist for my TMJ already, and so far, none have helped and I personally feel that none have spend enough time and energy to help me solve my issue. Dr. Lee was so thorough with my initial consultation. She asked me any and all questions that can possibility cause my TMJ. She is just great. The whole office staff was super friendly and kind. Obviously my TMJ issue have not been resolved yet since I just went in yesterday, but Dr. Lee gave me some instruction to follow until

I have been seeing Dr. Lee for the past 2 years for help with TMJ and teeth grinding and have to say she is practically a miracle worker. I have had TMJ for over 15 years and had ground my teeth down to the point where my enamel was worn off and I had intense pain in my jaw muscles on a daily basis. I have been to numerous TMJ specialists, oral surgeons and other dental professionals, but have never been able to find anyone who could give me relief from the pain I was experiencing. Dr. Colleen Cournot is the best dentist in all of NYC. That by the way is not just my experience, but everyone I know who has been to her, including a hygienist friend of mine who worked for many dentists in the area before she found Dr. Cournot, and said the ONLY one she trusts for her own dental care is Dr. Cournot.
