This is a great local gym with excellent and knowledgable trainers and staff. The trainers have helped me work through two serious injuries, and the monthly membership fee includes unlimited fitness classes in all levels of fitness. The head trainer, Chris Ullom, even designed a custom workout for me, to get me through a running injury (plantar fasciitis), and they have successfully referred me to other sports medicine experts in the area. Even my twenty-four year old nephew, a veteran D1 football player, loves the gym!

Excellent knowledgeable staff. Family operated, they are the friendliest, most helpful and down to earth. We have been sending our son Max here for 3 years for the Parisi team training. It is a excellent program for young athletes of all ages male and female. The atmosphere is great the members are of all ages and is very much like your second… family the are friendly and motivating there is a push to be together in the classes a bond helping those in the beginning when usually everyone hesitates. The reason Wareing’s is the oldest gym in America!

I have been a member for about 4 months now. I have gone to a bunch of other gyms in the area, I don’t think any compare. The staff are all very professional and friendly. They also push you to hit your goals. They offer a variety of classes for any level of fitness. If you are looking to invest in your body, this gym is the place to do it

What can be said about the family owned and operated & oldest Gym in America is that they continue to stay on the cutting edge of fitness with excellent instruction, up to date equipment, and many of the new tools used to monitor and track performance and personal improvement. . . You owe it to your health to at least take a class and meet with a trainer. . . hope to see you soon... Life Time Member. . .

Wareings is by far the best gym I've ever been to. Great staff/owners/members. Wareing's has more character and charm than any other gym. It has all the equipment you need with a bright and open layout. Classes are also top notch. I've had 1000+ questions and the trainers have always be enthusiastic to help. Shoutout to Chris Ullom, the head trainer. Even while I was away at school and not paying gym dues he would still give me advice on different gym topics - things like that have made me a Wareing's lifer.
Also, very pleased the gym rolled out extended hours. About time!

Came here while I was on vacation. The staff is very nice and parking was plentiful. Also, the gym was very clean. There are machines but enough to cover a muscle group. The free weights were awesome and roomy. However, the only reason it’s not 5 stars because it’s expensive. $75.00 for a week. That’s some serious money to be asking.

I have been going here for three years and love it!! All of the trainers make it a priority to know each person by name. They are all super helpful. There is always a place to spread out and do floor exercises which I have had trouble finding at other gyms. I also love utilizing the sauna and all of the awesome classes offered.

I didn't actually go to this gym because the daily fee is $25!!! I've paid less than this for daily fees at spas in big resorts with much more to offer. I can only assume that the owners do not want or need daily business. I walked in and the woman at the counter was not pleasant at all! During my stay I went to 2 other gyms: Anytime Fitness and Town Center Fitness and both were so friendly and $10 and had everything you could possibly need.

A couple of months ago, I visited here and I have to say it continues to impress me. The gym is no-nonsense, intense and as genuine as it gets. The owner gave a discount for a two day pass that led me down the rabbit hole of dual kettle bell lunges, Turkish get-ups and burbee nirvana. No latex here boys and girls...oh no. You'll just find deeper layers of inner strength as you watch fellow members take it to the next level. Inspiring.....leave your head bands behind....

Love Wareings! I will say that I used to be a member of at a competing gym and the group fitness classes are more intense and difficult at Wareings... yeay!
My biggest problem is that there is carpet in the group fitness room... so disgusting. I have no clue why they haven't switched to a surface that can be clean... for example hardwood floor. I can't stop thinking about all the sweat and germs in the carpet and it also smells... who would want to lay down and do ab work??!!
The staff really do care about the wellness of their members and take an active interest in community events

My husband belongs to Wareings. I've been a few times as his guest and if I weren't enslaved into a contract with another gym, I probably would have switched to Wareings already.
The list of classes they have included with a membership is reason enough for me. They have two classrooms, the second being a beautiful hot yoga studio that is frankly nicer than any of the dedicated hot yoga studios I've been to in HR. And the yoga classes are ALL included! And there's not just one or two a week like you find at most gyms. There's at least one a day and they're very professional

I want to start this review by saying that my husband works for Wareing's Gym. I'm not sure that I'm supposed to be reviewing a business where I'm friends w/ the owners, but I feel that I have a right to because I have been working out at Wareing's since before I knew the owners personally, back when I was only 15 years old. And plus, it's pretty much impossible to be a member of Wareing's Gym & not know the owners because this is a family owned & operated business! Everyone who works out at Wareing's knows (& loves) the owners! But since I am
