"Eek! Methinks not" is definitely an understatement. The service was absolutely terrible in terms of communication and clarity. Every time either one of my two roommates, or myself called the office there was no answer. I guess that is why it is called Trio Realty, because they only have three people working there and clearly on time for phone calls. And when I finally did hear back from the broker I got the excuse of "I haven't heard back from the tenant yet so I did not have any new information." A phone call simply saying that you have not heard back yet, but you will

Apathy, unprofessionalism, lack of communication. I've been in Boston for two years and know a little about how brutal/cutthroat the apartment rental process is, and how things have to be done very quickly or someone else will grab the place you want. But you don't have to be the least bit experienced to know how a realty SHOULD operate and what standards to hold them to. I found an agent from Trio Real Estate who was one of only two on Zillow to get back to me, so I was glad to work with her....at first. She was pretty quick to set up a viewing, but my two roommates had to go without

First, I am happy that my roommates and I were able to find an apartment. We had been looking for quite awhile, and we were really worried that we weren't going to find something that would work for each of us. A few weeks ago, we reached out to a few agents on Zillow, and it happened that one of the agents from Trio Real Estate Group responded. She was very responsive and enthusiastic when she was setting up the showing. We loved the apartment, and we were sure we would move forward with the leasing process. After the initial showing, the agent completely changed. It took her two to three

After having called 2 realtors, the main office and emailing 3 days later not one call back or response. Don't waste your time with this lazy, shady outfit.

If only Yelp would allow 0 stars!

I can assure you that the other reviewers have likely been very accurate in their reviews. I have dealt with Corey Brock on a number of occasions as I own a unit that is part of an association "managed" by Corey and Trio. He is literally the least helpful person I've ever dealt with, is EXTREMELY RUDE--really inappropriately so--and his combative and downright rude rebuttals to Yelp reviewers is a clear testament to the type of behavior that you will likely encounter should you ever be forced to work with Corey and Trio. The fact that he has

I have been working with Corey since 2010 and couldn't be happier. Super responsive and understanding to any issues at the apartment. Regardless of the other reviews, all of my experiences with him have been positive.

Corey B.,

I also live with Kat D. and unfortunately as amazing as getting paid sounds just to write a bad review, this is not the case. I was sitting right next to her as she sent the email out to one of your "professionals" explaining the time of his arrival was inconvenient for us. No response after 24 hours and him surprising us this morning actually was inconvenient for us as we stated in the email that we can send you a copy of if you'd like. My privacy was not respected and I am wondering how you run a business if your staff does not have an email system that works properly

David McIver completely invaded my privacy this morning. I spoke to him through email about when he could show our apartment, and despite the fact that I asked him politely for another time, he came anyway to show the apartment. Completely unacceptable and next time I will be calling the police. I called the office to speak to someone about it, and the guy on the phone couldn't care less. I'm not sure how they are training their agents, obviously it's a free for all.

Stay away from Trio Real Estate - SO disrespectful.

In regards to the comment below, Corey B., has just made it

If you are looking for an apartment rental that is going to be managed by Trio Real Estate - think again. While I can not speak for all the agents, if you get Mr. Corey Brock, you are in for a ride. He has a caustic temper, use profanity instead of common business decorum, and even uses threats when you call him for not following up on issues like heat, snow removal, leaks and the like. He and the company show no responsiveness and I am moving out to get away from Corey Brock. Really...do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

We rented our apartment in a two family home through a Trio agent. Both the landlord and the Trio Real Estate Group were aware of the fact that the woman living upstairs from us is mentally unstable and has driven out multiple previous renters. This woman has harassed us since we arrived because she thinks the entire building belongs to her and her family and resents having anyone else live on the premises. Even the landlord is unable to reason with her and will only communicate with her and her husband through his lawyer.
I know that Trio was aware of the issue, because the woman had complained

We lived in an apartment in Boston, let by Trio Real Estate, Brookline for a couple of years, I was new to the US from the UK, and the gentleman who showed us the flat was polite, courteous, friendly, had a can-do attitude and listened to what we wanted in an apartment. He managed to find us a nice place within a matter of days, which was reasonable in price. During our stay, we had a good experience with Trio, in that any time there was an issue, they were responsive in getting things fixed for us without any difficulty. I would happily recommend them

I was recommended by staff at Bank of America in Coolidge Corner to work with Corey Brock. He was never late to a viewing appointment and sent me listings that were in line with what I was lookin for. He works very hard around the clock and was willing to show whenever I want/need. He was very responsive even while on vacation, pretty much can be reached anytime from early morning to late at night (he called me at 10 pm when there was an offer on the place we were interested in). He was able to provided me with recommendations for lawyer, inspector, and associated professionals. He took care of

I used Trio Real Estate Group to find my last apartment. The agent, Abby, showed us a few apartments and we actually ended up leasing one. However, we did have a few issues:

1. The realtor kept avoiding our questions about whether there was laundry in the building. She would tell us that she would find out, but never did. And then, after we signed the lease, she told us that there wasn't laundry in the building.

2. The apartment was listed as "landlord paying partial fee". However, Abby told us right before we signed the lease that the landlord had changed her mind and that

I live out of town and needed a management company to help me with my rental property. After following up with several companies that I found online, I decided to go with Trio because they had experience managing another condo in my same building. I ended up working with Corey Brock, and couldn't be happier. He's always available, and answers phone calls or e-mail messages immediately. Once, when my bank failed to send me a deposit notification, I e-mailed Corey to verify that the rent was delivered. He provided documentation right away, and it was reassuring to see that Trio was

We worked with Mike to help find us a place and were very satisfied.

Of all the brokers we talked to, Mike clearly wanted to help us find an apartment. When the one we originally wanted to look at went quickly he was able to find another very close to the same price and in an area we absolutely loved.

Of course we'd rather have not paid a fee, but at least we paid one to a person who we know earned it. Good job!

I contacted one of the agents, Adam S., to view a property in the Boston area and was initially impressed by his contact and professional demeanor. I had made an appointment to see a pet-friendly property late on a Sunday which I was reticent to do because I wanted to return home (a four-hour drive away) earlier, but stayed because he assured me that he'd have other properties to show me as well.

When we met, my husband and I stepped into his car which reeked of smoke and had Red Bull cans rolling around in it. He apologized, saying that it'd been a long night (TMI!). He also let

When I first saw my now new apartment on Craigslist, I was beyond excited. When the realtor showed us the place, I was even more excited. Despite her lack of knowledge and misleading facts, I was still very interested in the apartment. After weeks of e-mailing back and forth trying to set up dates and solidify a lease, we finally came to the day of the lease signing. I was very upset to receive a call from my realtor 20 minutes prior to our meeting to sign the lease that she had some major adjustments to be made to our lease. This lead me to believe that she had made no attempt to speak to our

This was the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a real estate group! The real estate group tried to make us put down more money then agreed upon telling us the landlord had requested it, which we learned later that she hadn't. They deposited two checks, one which I told them not to, over drawing my account by $4,000. When I went to the office to speak to the owner about refunding me my money he was rude, unprofessional, and threatened to not refund me! I was not trying to get out of my lease or agreement with the company...he had been paid twice!! Once we moved we discovered
