At Pilates Vita, we give our clients more than a great workout - we also help them gain the knowledge and self-awareness of body and mind they need to create full balance in a healthy and happy life. My name is Patricia A. Robinson a Physical therapist and a Master Pilates instructor. During my 18 years in the Pilates world, I had the privilege of learning and working with two first-generation teachers who were trained by Joseph Pilates himself.

I also have had the privilege of certifying teachers in several different countries myself, and have developed my own Pilates certification training and studio franchising program in the United States. Pilates is an intelligent system that allows the person to work with more quality and less repetition.

Joseph Pilates wanted to bring people back to life, to a healthy and balanced life. That is our goal as well: find in your core the center of strength and in your mind the happiness of your life. Our mission at Pilates Vita is to teach our clients all about their bodies and how they can easily follow the seven key principles of Joseph Pilates: Centering, Control, Concentration, Coordination, Breath, Flow, and Precision.
A variety of approaches to serve clients with a wide range of needs, skills, comfort levels, and personal goals. A 55 minute session, consisting of one client and one instructor, utilising the Pilates equipment that the teacher and client choose. A private session provides you the opportunity to have a personalised workout only for you.
I am the meeting and event planner for the Pilates Method Alliance, a world-wide professional association for the Pilates industry whose mission is to educate and certify teachers. I have known Patricia for several years through her attendance at our meetings throughout the US. Patricia is a master teacher who brings enormous experience to the Pilates professional and her studios.
The Pilates Method of Body Conditioning is a system of exercises that focus on the "Powerhouse." These deep postural muscles of the body-mainly the abdominal, buttocks, hips and inner thighs-strengthen and lengthen the body. While strengthening the core stability muscles, Pilates works towards re-aligning the spine to its optimum position.
All exercises are done with a rhythm and a dynamic, connecting heartbeat and respiration in perfectly timed breathing. You will learn how to move your body with the precise balance required for the equipment you're using to have a safe and effective workout. When performing the exercises properly, you are in control of all of the movement of your body.

Patricia is a knowledgable instructor with all the professional techniques. She can really manage your pain and know your body better than yourself. Besides, Patricia is such a nice and warm person and makes you feel very comfortable. She is definitely the best. I strongly recommend for anyone who wishes to do pilates. I just look forward to each session with her and I am so glad that I chose here!

I came to Patricia with a number of ailments like an inured foot tendon and a hernia after my pregnancies. Patricia has been absolutely amazing in helping both problems. Her exercises are completely tailored and no matter where I have pain that particular day, be it in my shoulders, neck, tendon or back, she is able to fix it within 1 session. My foot has healed completely and my hernia has improved dramatically and visibly. I came to Patricia with a quite specific physical therapy need - she immediately understood and blew me away with her ability to explain my challenge anatomically / identify what specific muscles we needed to target. After only 5 sessions I can see a huge difference of strength and flexibility, both where I needed PT and also in general. She is fantastic at explaining how to properly do various Pilates exercises, and is also great company!! Pilates Vita is a truly proper Pilates studio, with great teachers and a lovely environment ☺️

I absolutely love and look forward to my classes with Patricia, she’s warm and makes you very comfortable if you are new to Pilates! I highly reccomend this studio, I have been practicing reformer pilates for over 10 years and recently got into Cadillac Pilates and this place is truly top notch! The space is beautiful and filled with light, it is also kept super clean. The machines are the best quality and then there is Patricia Phebo...an amazing professional and the heart of this place. She is a true expert, in 5 minutes she understood all of my injuries and needs without me explaining anything. I look forward to training with her every week <3 she has a huge heart, incredible energy and the best touch! :)

Patricia is a true professional with an incredible attention to detail. It is immediately obvious that she is extremely passionate about Pilates and highly knowledgable. I came to see Patricia suffering from extreme back pain and her methods and approach not only alleviated my pain but also turned me into a Pilates aficionado.

I have been working with Patricia for around 15 sessions and cannot believe how my body has changed. I am slimmer and so much stronger. At 55 it takes a lot more work to feel fit, but with Patricia's guidance it feels almost instant. I am fitter, stronger, more balanced and feel so well.
