Great new option in historic Gruene. Hospitable hosts, easy check-in, river access, and thoughtful touches like a wagon provided for families. Easy stroll to Gruene Hall. Would definitely return again. We stayed 2 nights at the Coastal Casita. The room was so comfortable and spotless. We were in town to attend a show at Gruene Hall.
Our five casitas feature luxurious accommodations, including flat screen TVs in the bedroom and living areas, a private bathroom, a kitchenette with a coffee bar, and access to a golf cart for trips around Gruene. The casitas are surrounded by live music venues and are a short walk or golf cart ride to dining and shopping.
We opened in the Fall of 2019 and love sharing our piece of historic Gruene with our wonderful guests! We have two kayaks and two paddle boards available for our guests. To tube, you can rent from local outfitters such as Rockin' R or bring your own. We do provide an air pump, so save room in the car by blowing your floats up when you get here!

Our party of 8 rented 4 of the 5 casitas on the July 4, 2021 weekend and absolutely loved each one of them. The location is perfect--just a few steps from Gruene Hall and a great private river access/picnic spot.
I highly recommend renting a golf cart. The sidewalk leading down to the river is a steep one but the golf cart was fantastic, especially for our parents--80+ yrs old. The sidewalk leads to a great picnic area, which now has a 'sail' shade to cover the picnic tables and the charcoal fire pit. We sat our canopies up in the river, along with our lawn chairs and enjoyed the tubers coming

A friend rented a casita for us for Memorial Day weekend through Airbnb. The email that accompanied the approved booking had the code to the electronic lock. We arrived and accessed the unit with no issue. After unpacking, we headed down to the river. This was quite a walk and was not what we were expecting based on the descriptions that the property gives about river access. The traverse to the water is up and down a somewhat steep paved walkway. The rain prevented us from enjoying the river as we had hoped, so we were forced to head back to the room to wait out the bad weather. While seated outside

We had the Best time at the Casitas. Even though it rained our entire stay, the amenities were so nice, we didn't want to leave!!! You feel like you are in your little oasis and the view of the river was breathtaking. The bed was unbelievable comfortable and it was a KING bed!!! The Towels smelt amazing and were 100% freshly washed. The location was perfect walking distance from all the action in Gruene and they even give you a Golf Cart to use! The Owners we very responsive, extremely nice people and great company. We will definitely come back as soon as we can! We are so thankful we found the

We stayed in the Costal Casita and loved it!! From the time we checked in, to the time we checked out, we had a blast! Great river access to relax by the rapids while still being able to swim in the still.
There’s so much to do in Gruene that is just walking distance from the casitas once you get done hanging out by the river.
It was super fast and easy to reserve our room online trough the website. Customer service was amazing and all our questions were answered quickly.
The owners are super friendly and really make you feel at home while you’re there.
