We had a really great getaway and loved the vacation rental we stayed in. Amz was very helpful, organized, and responsive leading up to our stay.
However, after we left, we had a $40 charge on our credit card. When I inquired about it, I was told there were two pillows missing from the house (which we did NOT take) and per our agreement, we were responsible. When I said I would dispute the charge, they said if we did, we would incur more fees including collection fees and court costs. So since I did sign the agreement, they're pretty much allowed to charge me for whatever is missing 'according

We rented a house on canyon lake from this management company. The ac did not work very good could only turn it down to 72 or the unit freezes. We had ants get into all of our food. After we checked out a raccoon opened the door and got in the house. I was charged an additional 500.00$ fee. Turned into a very expensive vacation for us. Beware of Amz Getaways.

We found a house on Canyon Lake via VRBO that this company represented. Decided to book the house. We did the whole process and sent in everything they requested. After 3 or 4 days of hearing nothing back I messaged through the VRBO app asking questions. Everytime we used this vacation rental platform before the host were most accommodating and sent us the final confirmation and entry instructions in a timely manner. We allowed AMZ to manage our home as a vacation rental and were extremely pleased! Housekeeping does a great job and it's nice to have Gwen follow up by checking on our home before and after each rental. Our home stayed booked all summer and never fell short of a 5 star review!!! We love our home and Canyon Lake area so much and are happy we can provide a home that helped friends and families create lasting memories while staying in the Canyon Lake area. We just had an amazing vacation up in Canyon Lake and stayed at Beautifully Furnished Sunset Point. When looking for a place to stay we ALWAYS book with Gwen and Mike at AMZ GETAWAYS!! The houses we rent are always beautiful, accommodated with anything and everything we need, never have we walked into a dirty house. They always call and check in with you upon arrival to make sure everything is perfect!! Look no where else when needing to book a lake house in Canyon Lake! Everyone is so professional and will bend over backwards to make sure everything is perfect!! Thanks AMZ GETAWAYS!!

I am the owner of a property and trusted these people to take care of my home (manage my property) that I deployed so many times for. First, there was a very manageable issue with the HVAC involving water damage. The guests at the time were being very cooperative. However, their failure to manage this caused more damage and the removal of the tenants.
The maids were awful. I found a sucker melted to the floor, dust, crumbs, etc. And I had to call an exterminator it was so bad.

Gwen was amazing and made planning a Texas bachelorette party from NYC a breeze. The instructions provided in advance were thorough and easy. The property was better in person than we even expected. Everything was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our stay. The only complaint we had is that we only had 2 nights to enjoy the property! Would love to come back!

Mike & Melissa manage my property. We have regular inspections between guests to ensure good repair and cleanliness. We are given notice for repairs, bookings and improvement suggestions to make our guests more comfortable. AMZ Getaways does a great job of caring for the guests comfort as well as the owner's property. Overall great management company for short term leases. Our guests report an excellent vacation experience.

Planned a fun Father's Day weekend with my family at a Canyon Lake condo through AMZ Getaways. Upon arrival we noticed extremely dirty floors with hair all over it. I had to rewash the utensils because when we went to use them there was dried food all over them. The shower tub wouldn't drain because it was completely clogged with something. Lastly, my daughter cut her foot open on broken glass in the living room. Due to unsanitary conditions, we ended our trip a night early and drove home.

I rented a home from this company and would not recommend them to anyone. During our stay, they came in and took pictures of our personal belongings without our permission (that had no relevance to their business or the state of the house). They also noted items we brought and claimed they were the owners' and accused us of taking them from the house. I did not receive any of my $500 deposit. I was threatened with being taken to court and that "they knew everyone in this county" if I wrote about this. I was so threatened and violated by this company I canceled the card I used to
