Joseph Pilates created his eponymous exercise method in the early 20th century, and it has been carefully refined over more than eighty years. I have been studying and teaching this method since 1995 and I have personally felt the numerous benefits; the strength, balance, and harmony are something I try to pass on to each of my clients.

Lena's Studio not only provides its clients with a life changing Pilates program but also has yoga weekly and massages by appointment. The studio strives to have everything the clients need to tone, strengthen, center, and relax your body in one intimate setting. Together Lena, Justin, and Esther form a team that will help you revolutionize your physical and spiritual health.
Lena's Studio opened in 2001 and is a spacious full service Pilates studio that was designed with the client's comfort in mind. At 1300 square feet, the studio boasts tall ceilings, large windows with abundant natural light, wall-mounted mirrors throughout the entire studio, and ample parking. Additionally, the studio includes a back room with beautiful sliding glass doors making it the ideal space for private instruction or a relaxing massage.
Our clientele includes people with ongoing injuries (including back problems), healthy athletes, seniors, and pre/postnatal women. Lena gives all of her client's individual attention and tailors each workout to their particular needs and goals. Pilates is a method of physical and mental conditioning that emphasizes the body's true balance, economy of movement, and a channeled flow of energy.
I have worked out for 30 years in different ways: weight training, aerobics, step, elliptical trainer, stretch bands, Taebo, and walking. I have now been doing Pilates for one and half years and I simply cannot stress how important this has been for me. I am stronger and more flexible than I've ever been in my life.
Private Sessions are necessary in order for Lena to understand your body's needs and conditions, which may require specific exercise and attention. As a new client to the studio, it is important for her to determine the best method of meeting your personal fitness goals. After several private sessions you may opt to choose one of the semi-private options.
