My journey began most consciously in high school when I evaluated my skills and decided I would do well in psychology. I maintained that goal all the way to graduate school, and I remember my first day there, sitting in my first class thinking, "This is exactly where I belong." Now I know that many people do not have the privilege of feeling passionate about what they set out to do and for that I am grateful.
Many clients have found success through lifestyle changes, understanding their issues, and finding new perspectives using a variety of therapeutic techniques. At Personal Wellness Solutions, we believe that therapy cannot be done without using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, in addition to considering your past.
Husband/Wife duo that work with all ages and specialize in sexual problems and personality disorders. They only accept self-pay clients. In-patient for mental health and substance abuse issues. I began seeing Alicia at a very dark time in my life after the death of my 16 year old daughter. I literally thought my life was over and there was no way back from this tragedy. Alicia offered me encouragement and hope in a situation where I felt there was none. Together we carefully worked together creating a path to begin a healing process. Today I'm using what I learned on this journey to try to help other grieving parents and she has been there continuing to encourage me every step of the way. She literally saved my life.
