Would you like the positive or the negative first...I'm a positive guy so here we go. Great location, right by the Ventura Pier and off Harbor Blvd. Wonderful apartment mates, very friendly and always a hello as you walk the grounds of the apartment complex. Beautiful grounds, well maintained. Every Tuesday morning large lawn was mowed and trees trimmed. Pool was nice, a bit small but water was warm and not used much during the week. Close enough the Downtown Ventura that its a 10 min walk to Main Street, lots of restaurants and of course Tony's Pizza is a 5 min walk. Lots of Dogs

I read the reviews previously posted and was a bit confused by some of the people's comments. Management is competent and maintenance is very responsive. Hey, this apartment complex was built in 1972 and you can expect repairs. And, you are living by the beach, so you can expect some noise. Overall, the units are well maintained, management is (now) responsive, and maintenance is fairly prompt. Location is great (that's what you're paying for). I have been living at Beachfronter since 10/2017. The place is very quiet. One child lives here whom I've never heard cry. Everyone is extremely pleasant and friendly. It's a great community. There are no kitchenettes anywhere at Beachfronter. Full, beautiful bright kitchens. Gorgeous grounds.The management has always taken care of any issues within minutes or the same day. No parties or loud people ever. I am happy to call this my home!

I am a single 31 year old woman from Russia and they are ugly losers. Only good person is Gabe handyman. He has arms that fix things. Manager Valerie is cool but things move slooooow... Very run down like something out of the movie from 1980s. Hot water won't last past 10 minutes. Old cabinets, greasy bathtubs, etc. Cheap and nosy neighbors. Very loud every day at 5am before the sun comes up you hear surf boards hitting the stairs every day. Old people and people with small children even babies crying. Annoying. Very thin walls. I heard all my neighbors right and left sneeze let alone walk

I would give 0 stars if I could. Beachfronter, by far, was the WORST place I have EVER lived. I agree with everything that Richard S. had to say plus more. (The only reason Richard S. gave 2 stars was because he was on the second floor with a view). It was unbearable to live there. Constant intrusion of peace and privacy at every level. It was a torture chamber of hell. Don't let the "oceanfront" living fool you. You could not even hear the ocean with the incessant noise levels of car racing, county fairs, music events, train horns, freeway noise, etc. and the list goes on

The best part of living at these apartments is the location. The location is great especially if you are into surfing. The management (specifically the lady with the accent) is the reason for the mediocre review. Poor customer service & downright rude very often. You'd expect to get treated with top notch customer service since the rent is high, however, that is not the case. Other than that- I'd recommend living here. It is wonderful to wake up and hear the waves crashing outside of your window. I'd move back to be by the beach again.
