Great place to live. I pay $599 for rent and a $40 flat fee for utilities as of December 2021, which is a little high for a studio but: the apartments are clean with a spacious bathroom and closet. All appliances work perfectly and I’ve had no issues. Staff is friendly and the property is well maintained. My only issue with Remington Square is the laundry situation. It costs $2 per load and I usually have to dry my clothes 2-3 times so the costs really add up. The base rent is already a bit steep for the actual apartment, so to pay $4-$8 every time for laundry is a bit much.

They do not refund the deposit. Instead they use it as charge for routine maintenance that they ought to be responsible for when you move out (e.g., repainting the walls, cleaning the carpet for the new tenant, etc.). Note, this is just tegar wear and tear maintenance, not that you had done anything on the walls or something. Oh, I also had a mold prpnlem which they came and sprayed over it.

The first-floor apartment is unbearably cold, like freezing cold even in the hot spring weather outside - like an uninsulated frozen basement. if freezing cold apartment is your thing, then you would love it, especially for the apartment not facing the sunny side. The constant cold kept my heater running even in the hot spring weather, and energy bill kept very higher than average for all months. The thin wall absorbs cold air like a basement.

Remington square was the perfect Friday apartment! It is pretty small but perfect for a couples first apartment or a single person! The utilities are fairly cheap and affordable. The staff is always so helpful and friendly! Maintenance always comes in a resonance amount of time. This is definitely a great place to live in Lawrence and is so affordable!

I have lived here for a year and just signed another year lease. The property is extremely well maintained and taken care of, the maintenance is always handled fast and done great, the staff is always so friendly and nice and most importantly Holly Dudley, the manager, is AMAZING! She always greets me with a huge smile and I love talking with her and joking with her. Holly will make you feel at home here. She is also one of the most caring people I've ever met...and a dog lover! I 110% recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a great and clean apartment with the most friendly staff anyone
