I'm a nice person. I like to see the good in things but there's no exception here. The room was very dirty... Crumbs and dust on the furniture, hair and grime in the shower, the carpet had obviously not been vacuumed...
If you can stand that then here's the good. It was very easy to find with comfortable parking and a friendly desk person.

The Relax Inn is Very comfortable the rooms are nice and clean. The young man who checked me in was very Pleasent and happy to help me. I have a service animal (pitbull dog) I was told no animals when he saw me arrive with the dog next to me once in explained he was a service animal he was more than happy to accommodate my guy Bandit. I have no complaints this far of my stay here .

In all of the years that I've been traveling I've never experienced something so awful. After traveling ALL DAY we showed up at the hotel booked through Priceline (booking.com) only to find that the price had been spiked from $571.16 to $669.00, leaving us to run and find a last minute place to stay. I showed the manager all of the reservations and although the mistake was made on their end he insisted that we had to pay $669.00. Before us getting there we had no previous notification of the price change. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I was so indignant and furious they actually called the police

Room had some trash from previous guests, carpet looked stained. Bathroom was clean. I was here for just 1 night. I really don't understand why motels stick with carpets when they are harder to maintain compared to hard floors. It's a decent hotel for price compared to other ones in the town. Beds are very comfortable though if you're not carpet person and just looking for a good night's sleep this is perfect.

Clean basic motel. Very reasonably priced for the area. No frills, and breakfast was just a wrapped cinnamon roll or granola bar. No fruit, yogurt. Just minimum to call it a breakfast. Staff was courteous and room was comfortable and clean. It was a bit noisy, but that was due to other guests checking in late, not the hotel's fault. I would stay again.

A really excellent place to stay, especially for the price! The room was clean and smelled really nice. We stayed for two nights, and though we asked not to have the beds made or for clean towels, it was offered. The staff were very friendly, and it was in a convenient location, a short drive to both Boothbay and Portland. I would definitely stay here again!
