Services
My home inspection expertise is built on 16 years of construction and remodeling experience. This gives me an intimate knowledge of the home as a system that no amount of book training can replicate. To this I have added extensive inspection specific certifications and courses and place a high level of importance on continuing education.
Our inspections are exhaustive, averaging about 3 hours, and focus on both the major issues as well as smaller maintenance items. You are encouraged to be present at the property at the time of the inspection to see first hand any potential issues and to ask any questions that you may have. Included in every inspection is a detailed, full color report, full of pictures of all defects and maintenance issues uncovered.
The seller can choose a certified InterNACHI inspector rather than be at the mercy of the buyer's choice of inspector. It might alert the seller of any items of immediate personal concern, such as radon gas or active termite infestation. The seller can assist the inspector during the inspection, something normally not done during a buyer's inspection.
We provide our home radon analysis using the most reliable method available- a full 48 hour test using an electronic continuous radon monitor. Our radon services are offered both as an add on to our basic home inspection and as a stand alone service. Radon gas decays into radioactive particles that can get trapped in your lungs as you breath.
