I am very impressed with my experience of living at Burnside 26
The application process was a breeze, and the promotions were too good to pass up! Communication from the leasing office has been incredible and easy. They are super transparent, and felt that there were no hidden agendas or moments where we felt we had to read between the lines. So far we have felt very supported throughout the process!

We’ve lived here for 3 years and the crime has gotten so bad lately. We just had a bike stolen for the second time after a series of break-ins. We have bad people in the building pounding on doors and screaming… for multiple days in a row. Packages are constantly stolen because there is no mail room. Cars outside get stolen and vandalized frequently. We moved in because of the amenities and now they are all gone. There is a security speaker outside that goes off in the middle of the night and echoes through the courtyard like a prison speaker. We get lots of empty promises things are

I lived at Burnside 26 for 3 years. At the beginning there was a great community and lots of perks of living here (e.g., Happy Hours). However, even before COVID, these events have gradually stopped. Further, during my time living in this building, it has become increasingly unsafe. Now it’s common for break ins to the “secured” bike room and resident parking garage. My utilities and fees have nearly tripled since 2019 with low transparency as to why despite my usage being stable. While I love the neighborhood and it's close to good food and bus options, I would recommend looking at the newer

I think some potential renters may be turned off by living on Burnside, perhaps concerned about the noise. I live facing Burnside and it's not that bad, you get used to it. It's a small price to pay for such a great location. Practically everything you need is in walking distance. Groceries, food carts, restaurants, dry cleaner, optometrist, vet, pet supplies, pot shop, furniture, tire repair...what am I missing, oh yeah...Laurelhurst park is .6 miles or a mere 11 min walk. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and the building is dog friendly!!! There is a secured garage, bike locker, dog washing

Highly recommend. Moved in November 2020 from an old building with no features to this fancy building with so many amenities, and with the move-in specials it costs about the same. Love my apartment - gorgeous details, view of pretty courtyard, dishwasher and washer/dryer in-unit. Relaxed neighborhood, pretty quiet. Easy access via transit (20 Bus stop out front) and ample neighborhood parking.
Finally, the staff. Heart eyes emojis for all of them, esp. Jordan. They take good care of us.

I've lived here a long time. The office staff Gina and her assistant Jordan have been amazing! I reached out to them several times and they have always accommodated me. My dryer stopped working and Ralph in maintenance is such a hard worker and fixed it and he tightened up my microwave. There have been a few minor bumps in my apt but that is overlooked due to the incredible customer service. They do fun events even amidst Covid 19 precautions! I won a raffle to the restaurant next door, Rock paper fish, so delish! I love my cozy studio, it's brand new, best apartment I've ever lived

We have lived here for almost 2 years and have no complaints. The building is clean, they host events every week and it's like a community instead of just an apartment building. Maintenance is quick. The management is great..Mikaeli recently came back to work. We missed her and love that she's back. It's a great place to live ♥️

Spoke with Gina last week and she told me she would send me pictures of an apartment. I was really wanting to move quickly and basically telling them this. She never sent the pictures, I tried calling multiple times and their phone system is a joke. No one answers it. Left a message the following day after more attempts . Got a generic email from Jordan, who seemed to be very disorganized. He apologized and sent the pictures finally, and I made an appointment to see the apartment today at 2pm. Well I get there on time, waiting in the rain while I was told to use the buzz in system that just sends

This building is home. The staff are super friendly. They’ve created an environment that actually feels like a community. I’ve lived here for 4 years.
Last management group really ruined the place. They could never keep staff. The building was dirty and unkempt. The staff at that time in maintenance were shady.
Once avenue5 took over the contract, things went back to normal. They even brought back on the building’s favorite previous leasing agents!
Between the community of neighbors in the building and the neighborhood, i can’t imagine living anyplace else. With all of the restaurants

My partner and I had a year lease. We moved out on August 18th. Oregon law states that security deposits must be returned within 30 days after move out. We gave them our new address to send us the deposit. The 18th of September rolled around and nobody emailed us. We emailed them twice with no updates. It's almost been a month past the legal deadline that they are supposed to return our deposit.

Newer building, with great layouts and the amenities you’d want like an in unit washer/dryer and dishwasher, even in the studio apartments. They are really focused on creating a community feel, with lots of events throughout the month. The staff is attentive and on top of things and a pleasure to deal with. And the location and neighborhood can’t be beat.

I've lived here for 2.5 years and love it. Neighborhood can't be beat and my studio is just the way I like it. The leasing office staff had some turn over in the past, but the current team is super kind and responsive. Don't know about some of the reviews on here- my unit is super quiet, hardly ever hear my neighbors at all (I'm on third floor, facing courtyard). Building feels secure, is cleaned DAILY, and feels good to come home to.

It is a pleasure living here. The B26 team is stellar; they are always friendly, positive and mindful of the renter. The building is Eco-friendly and always clean. B26 is extremely pet-friendly. It is more of a community than your typical apartment. They frequently have social events for resident with provided food and a keg. The rooftop deck has great views and a fire pit. The location is within walking distance to just about anything you need. They also have a flat cart and large dolly in the lobby are for residents to use at anytime. The trash room is also clean. One of my favorite features
