Among the District's top priorities has been the development of a strategic plan. District 127 partnered with Hazard, Young, Attea and Associates (HYA), to develop this strategic plan using a process that included conducting research, developing the plan, and identifying implementation steps. The district conducted Board interviews and focus groups with students, parents, employees and community members across all corners of the District.
Student safety is the top priority of Grayslake Community High School District 12. District administration monitors the threat of inclement weather closely and considers numerous factors when determining whether or not to close schools or adjust school start times. Please note that the considerations below are only guidelines and that many factors influence decisions regarding school closures due to poor weather conditions.
We empower all learners to launch their futures through relevant, engaging, authentic learning. On Thursday we will continue another powerful Grayslake Central tradition and take time to honor and celebrate those who have served in the armed forces in our Veterans Day celebration. For those unable to attend our assembly, please feel free to watch our assembly via this LINK.
