Carmel Catholic is moving forward with some of the most sweeping changes in the school's history. Expansion and refinement of several academic programs, design and implementation of a modern classroom aesthetic, and completion of key projects already in the works characterize the $6 million initiative which is slated to be in place by Fall 2021.

Went to Carmel, Graduated in 2002 and love everything about the school. Not only did I get a better education, but the quality and relationships I developed are some of the best I've gotten in my life.

I am sad to see some of the changes the new president and principal are making, as it is starting to stray away from what "Carmel" and what being a "Corsair" is and was, but I hope it comes back.

Great school. Best in the area.

Carmel Catholic.... I graduated from Carmel in 2014 and I thought I would put this review out for other minorities considering attending. I encountered multiple racial attacks, ie being spit on, having chocolate milk thrown at me, and endless racial slurs and discriminatory behavior that made me uncomfortable and outraged. With this, it was a constant battle with the Dean to take action other than having the offending student write an "apology letter". The school needs to be more transparent about racial matters in addressing them, disciplinary actions, and finding ways to support their

Carmel has been very wonderful to my 2 teenagers. My kids received more than an education they received excellent support when needed. Its nice that the staff helps and motivate respect and manners in the majority of the students which will carry them in the future careers. Excellent school for college prep students. It is a challenging environment acedemically.

I was in the first class to graduate from Carmel High School in 1966. My experiences were nothing more then great during my 4 yrs at Carmel. The prients were all great teachers along with our lay teachers. Fr. Fenton and Fr Michael are always in my heart. Fr Fenton was a tuff guy but through his discipline I was prepared for my military life. I thank God for my opportunity to attend Carmel High.

My daughter just finished her first semester at Carmel. Background: We are not Catholic, my son attends Vernon Hills High School, so we had the option of a top high schools in the state for free. All I can say is WOW. Not only are they academically focused, but they really do pay attention to the whole child. I had read and heard that they believe in not only working with kids to become honorable people, but the proof is in the pudding. Not only are these kids respectful, but the faculty has gone above and beyond for us. We are very, very happy with our decision to send her to Carmel. It's a nurturing

I am one of five children in my family who went to school at Carmel. All my siblings and I went to Carmel and graduated to go to great college careers.
In my four years there were definite challenges, but I couldn't be more thankful. I wouldn't want a light course load from a college prep school. My teachers were all willing and available to me at any time and the extra curricular activities were outstanding.
From my four years, I never once witness cliques or defined slots that kids often put each other in. There was such an amazing sense of community that banded together to support one another

Great school! I have two children who graduated from Carmel and went on to two of the most competitive colleges in the U.S. The Carmel academic, social, athletic and religious programs prepared them extremely well. Carmel is a caring place with a long-standing record of excellence. I would not hesitate to again entrust them with the education of my children!

I had friends go here and they didn't really like it as students. But, they were not the most motivated, either. It seemed like the work was quite difficult, and challenging for a lot of kids. Private high school is good for some, so check it out.
