Teri Berwick founded Summerhill Property Management, Inc. in 2005 after working more than 20 years in property management. For her, the fun of property management is to connect great owners with great tenants and ensure that everyone receives excellent service and that properties are well maintained.
I have worked with Teri Berwick for over two years, and it is a real pleasure to work with a true professional. Not only does she know the complexities of laws concerning rental properties, she also applies the human side. Her interpersonal skills are excellent, and she is able to handle the most delicate situations with a natural ease born of her experience and personality.

Having Summerhill Property Management as our Landlord was great! Everything went smoothly. They were always friendly, responsive and helpful. The tenant portal works great for payments and maintenance requests and any requests were answered and taken care of promptly.

Our family rented a property managed by Teri at Summerhill for a two year period and I can honestly say hands down I have never had a better experience.
Teri and team were incredibly responsive to any questions and issues we had. In addition their approach to every discussion was always on how to find a reasonable solution that met our needs along with the homeowner.
When we ultimately moved out to the home we bought Teri was quick to help us with everything we needed, 15 min turn around on our rent verification, working with the home owner to extend our stay a few extra weeks when our

A friend and neighbor highly recommended Teri when we were looking for a property manager for our home in Mountain View. Everything has gone smoothly ever since. I have been renting out a house I inherited from my mother in Old Palo Alto for more than 25 years. Teri Berwick has managed the house for the last decade. She is AMAZING!!! Summerhill has been a superb property manager for our duplex. They've found us excellent tenants and have a great network of resources for repairs and maintenance. They respond quickly to owners and tenants, and they follow through promptly with what's required. When we needed to renovate our property Teri Berwick found us several good contractors within the week (not easy to do on the peninsula). I highly recommend Summerhill.

I worked with Teri and her team in the past to find a phenomenal rental in Mountain View. We needed it on short notice, and she came through with the perfect place for us. She understood our needs and the needs of the property owner, and it worked out great.

I had a schedule to meet Ed, Teri's husband to see rent property on Sunday 9:00, but nobody show up and no call and no mail since then.
I asked about the schedule twice in advance but it happened.
Very dissapointed.
The renting situation in bay-area have high demand less property, and this situation making property management lazy and unprofessional, and Summerhill Property Management is the one of those lowest quality company I feel.
I even didn't get apology mail, they set schedule and ignoring customer.
I hope this never happen to anyone.

Cannot recommend Teri enough!
The things that really demonstrates how excellent her service is is how she helped us and our tenants through a nightmare time with our home builder.
A few months after we moved out and our tenants moved out, the torrential rains for the year came. Eventually, this caused our second floor balcony to leak through to a first floor bedroom, staining the walls and the carpet. Since the home is part of a relatively new townhouse community, the builder is responsible for the quality of the house, and the balcony wasn't draining properly.

Teri is a wonderful property manager who provides first rate service. From my initial contact. To offering to meeting the delivery truck for my couch to taking in my mail for 14 days, she has gone beyond the call of duty. Any issue, she is right there to support for the slightest repair. I would highly recommend using Summerhill to lease a property or to have them manage your property.

Highly unprofessional. They called to schedule a viewing at 4:45 pm yesterday, I told them I was flexible with viewing times but would be driving from the east bay, we set it up for 11:30 am today. They called me again around 10:45 am this morning as I was driving to say that the apartment had already been rented.
I hope others can avoid customer service like this in the future. I will not be looking to use Summerhill Property Management again.

They have a website that lets you easily pay your rent through Autopay, which is awesome because I don't want to worry about it. I had set it up incorrectly and had accidentally paid three times as much as I was supposed to. Teri was very helpful in helping me resolve the issue and returning the amount I had overpaid by. Couldn't be happier :)

My husband and I had been working with another property manager to rent out our condo in Sunnyvale. At the last minute, he dropped out a week before tenants were supposed to move in! Teri and Chris came to the rescue and had our applicants screened and ready to sign a lease within 24 hours. I feel like we're in great hands now! Plus, they have an online portal for tenants to pay rent etc. I envision smooth sailing ahead!

Teri and Summerhill were fantastic. I was a tenant for three years in a well maintained condo. She was highly responsive to calls and emails and always recommended a great solution for any of the maintenance issues that I encountered. The workers who performed the maintenance were well qualified, highly professional and timely. Plus Teri is so darn nice! I will miss her...

I own a home in Los Altos and live out of the area. I hired Teri to find and manage tenants for the home and she has done an amazing job. She increased the amount of money I was getting for the property significantly. She is very thorough and on top of everything. Her communication is excellent and she is very responsive to both myself and the tenants. I would highly recommend her as both a property manager and as someone who can find you the right fit if you are in the market for a rental property.

I normally do not write reviews, but I feel that my experience with Teri and her management company warrants one. The process of finding an apartment and moving in is always stressful, but Teri really made the whole transition easier. She is well organized and responsive in her communications. I moved from Brooklyn, NY to Los Altos and had a short amount of time to sign the lease. Teri made sure everything went smoothly and went out of her way to help us acquire a place several days before the start of the lease.

Teri has been an amazing manager for us as tenants. She was personable, professional and takes pride in her properties. Any issues with the property were resolved quickly and we were able to keep in contact with her even out of hours.
Our entrance and departure from our lease were smooth and free from issues.
We felt that Teri always facilitated a smooth and friendly relationship between the owner and ourselves the tenants and that it wasn't a typical business transaction like some agencies.
We rented our last place for 3+ years with Summerhill and would recommend them to both Tenants
